Abbreviated unit specifier returns different value than long version

#1

Hi!

I just discovered that when {Date} is a Date field set to 1/14/2018 (no timefield), the formula

DATEADD(Date,-2,'months')

returns

11/14/2017 12:00am

but

DATEADD(Date,-2,'m')

returns

1/13/2018 11:58pm

Edit: ARGGGGGH! I blew right past the fact that one date was in November and the other in January — ‘11’ vs. ‘1’. Sorry about that! (Next time, I’ll test using a March date…)

When using DATEADD, the shorthand, lowercase 'm' actually signifies minutes, not months. You can use an uppercase 'M' as a shorthand for months.
