Once a project is completed, what the best way to archive it so the information is available to reuse or reference later?
The best way to do this would be to use dedicated Views with Filters to see what you need to see and filter what you don’t need to see.
You’ll need a field to filter on. Two options work here:
- A Single-Select field called “Status” with options like “In Progress” and “Completed”
- A Checkbox field called “Completed” that can be checked when a Project is complete
Then, you’ll want at least 2 Views, one of which filters out “Completed” projects - those you can treat as “Archived”, as they don’t show in your main working view, but they are still there and searchable:
