I am wanting to see if anyone can help me with this. I have done a search but (probably by my own lack of knowledge) can’t find a reasonable answer.
I work with students. When I enter a new record, I want one of my fields to auto-populate with a new email address assigned to that student.
So for example, I have an email of student+112@nameofcompany.com. What I am wanting is for the next record I enter, which would be a new student, to result in a new email assigned that reads student+113@nameofcompay.com. Is that even possible?
I have done a formula of (99+{name of autonumber field}) for their student ID which results in on going new IDs for each student, now i need the email to have the same result.
