Hi all,

I am a newbie to Airtable and need help selecting which date is the farthest into the future from within a field in my projects table.

I have a lookup field in my projects table referencing my task end dates from my tasks table. I want to have my projects gantt chart block show the end date of the task that will be finished last so my timeline matches my tasks length duration for the longest task. The lookup field has multiple task dates separated by commas.

What formula or how do i compare dates within the same field and select which date is the farthest out into the future ?

Hi there!

Try changing your lookup field to a rollup field, with the following function:

MAX(values)

This should give you the “Maximum” date, i.e. the date furthest in the future :slightly_smiling_face:
