Editable User Profiles

Hi, I work at a career-focused high school. We encourage students to participate in work-based learning activities like job tours, mentorship, internships, certifications, etc. I’d like to for each student to have a private profile as a form they can edit throughout HS to track their accomplishments. I could probably do this with Google Forms Sheets but I was wondering if there was an advantage to using Airtable?
