How to separate purchases into two categories


I am a tshirt printing business.

I created an Inventory Base.
Have tab for Purchase Orders.

I need to do a few things with the inventory:

  1. I would like to receive the ordered items into Raw Goods inventory.
  2. As I print garments for specific clients or to maintain retail inventory, I need to move various quantities from Raw Goods to Finished Goods based on garment design that I apply.
  3. Finally, I need to be able to transfer out of Finished Goods via a Sales tab that will show sales (plus sales tax for retail sales) by customer.

At the end of the day I need to have accurate balance of Raw and Finished items.
