I’m stumped right now after several days of trying to figure this out. Posting to see if anyone has advice.
I’m trying to figure out the best way that my project table can automatically create records in my contract table.
Our project table lists out our projects, and one field is “awarded vendor”. Each project could have anywhere from 1 - 10 vendors, and we have to track the contract lifecycle of these.
Once someone from our team types in an “awarded vendor”, I’d like a new record to be created in our contract table so that we can initiate work with finance and legal teams.
I’ve tried this with automations and linked records & lookup fields, but haven’t exactly gotten the most simple or automatic results.
Has anyone had to create something similar before?
