We have stories that touch many different people at different times. Right now, it seems like if anyone is ever mentioned in the activity list, they get an email about the next comment even if it isn’t directed at them. Is there a way to remove who gets updated?
For example, a story is being published in the magazine and those authors and editors discuss it in June. Then it gets published and migrated to our online news page in July and the person migrating it has a question about it for her boss. The magazine editors don’t need to be bothered with her question, too.
