Way to Connect Apps w/ Automations?

I am wondering if there is a way to design a page for a record using the page designer app and then have that page sent via email through an automation? The idea is that the app would fill a custom made invoice sheet w/ record information and then be triggered to send the document via email once triggered. I don’t see any way to do this right off the bat but would love to know if anyone has done this before.

Unfortunately, apps can’t be automated in any way.

To automate document generation, you would need to turn to external tools, such as DocuMint.
