hi everybody,
I have an airtable actionable message in slack working... it gives me 2 buttons, which then correctly update a slack record.
However, after I click a button in Slack, it always changes to then say "Processing..." This never changes... leaving our users unsure if the action actually ran (it did).
I have tried with a new table in airtable. Not sure what else to try...
Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how to solve/troubleshoot??
Thank you

I’m seeing the same exact problem on my end, so it must be a new Airtable bug that has recently cropped up, because it’s supposed to say “Updated”.
I would report it to support@airtable.com as a bug. Hopefully they will fix it very soon!
In the meantime, until Airtable fixes this bug, you could create your own custom actionable message in Slack using Make’s Slack integrations, although you would need to use links instead of buttons. However, you could give the user any response that you want them to see after they click on the link.
I give step-by-step instructions on how to set this up in this Airtable podcast episode. Note that I show how to do it within the context of sending an email, but you can see how easy it would be to change it to Slack instead of email.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
