Automation to send a text alert suddenly not working

Just yesterday my automation set up to send a text out through Twilio stopped finding the phone number and putting it in the TO field (see image).

Here is what I have already tried:

I verified that the user had a number in the field of the failed automation. 

I made a new field that added the Country code to the phone number and selected that field value (at least I think since I didn't see the "Value" image appear where the last one was.

I don't know what else to try. Suggestion please!
