Autopopulate address field

Hi! 
2 things…
I’m trying to find a workaround so that when you being typing in the address field, the address starts coming up like in Google maps. I have the map extension installed and can not figure it out. From what I’m researching it’s not possible? 
Also, relating to address mapping… here is my other scenario…

Im creating this for a cat rescue and we perform mass trapping also. While in the field and a cat is trapped is there a way to snap a pic, create a new record and in the location field have our location populate?

You can’t do that natively with Airtable, but that is super easy to setup in just a couple of minutes with either:

(1) Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable
or
(2) JotForm

Both of these form apps offer the 2 features you’re looking for:

(a) automatic filling of addresses pulled from Google Maps, 
and
(b) Automatic GPS location coordinates of the user’s current location.

Both of these apps feed into Airtable, so all your data will be stored in Airtable.

Thanks Scott!! I’ll look into this. I did add both extensions the other day but couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. I’ll delve deeper!

You’re welcome! Note that these are not Airtable extensions — these are separate websites that you would need to use. There are no Airtable extensions that would do what you want to do, because Airtable doesn’t make extensions available to the general public.
