Hi all,
I'm new to airtable and I'm trying to take first steps using automations.
I'm setting up notifications about a new tasks: an email is sent every time a task with to-do status is assigned to a user. The emails are sent fine, this part works like a charm.
But here is the difficult part: I'd like to include in the email the link for the new task and I cannot find the variable I can use in the email text.
Like "if task x is assigned to a user send an email to the users email address with the link to x in the email text".
I've checked the resources here and couldn't find anything.
Can anyone help me with this link/variable?

Thank you in advace!

Hi,

If you are using an automation, in the messages section you can use the "Base Record URL". This will provide a link to that specific record that was created. Attached is a picture of what it would look like. You should use the "user" column type to assign each task to a user. Then in the to section you can select the user column and email.

Adding on to Sareyh's reply, you can also make the link's a bit prettier with some markdown:

Thank you! I've used good old html tags, works for me:
