For context, I am building an email automation that is sent every work day (Monday-Friday). The email would display any of the task records that are due on that particular day that the email is sent out.
My problem is that Airtable's scheduling timing trigger is limited to posting every single day. I would not like to send out an email on the weekend.
I cannot use "When a record is updated" as a trigger as it would send an email for every single task record that is due today, whereas I am trying to send only one email a day.
I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Switch the automation to trigger on a WEEKLY basis instead of a DAILY basis, and then Airtable will give you a choice of which days you want it to trigger.
Additionally, if you ever need significantly more complex scheduling that gives you infinite control over hourly ranges, day ranges, date ranges, and mixing & matching different rules for different days, you can get all of that control by using Make‘s Airtable automations.
There is a small learning curve with Make, which is why I created this basic navigation video to help. In that thread, I also provide the links to a few other Make training resources there as well.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
