Autofill geographic area based on postcode entry

I’m fairly new to Airtable, so thank you for the help.

I want users to be able to sort information based on a geographical region.

The geographic region is comprised of postcodes. My table #1 only has postcode entries, and I have another table #2 that defines which postcode is assigned to which region.

Can i get my table #1 with postcodes to autofill region based on the information in table #2

Hey! There are a few ways you could do this, but I’d recommend looking at tools such as Zapier or Integromat.

Basically you want to create logic that says:

“When a new record comes into #table1”
“Lookup #table2”
“Update record in #table1 with region from #table2”
