If I change the primary field type will the field or record ID's change?

I am running an entire business out of an Airtable base. I want to change a primary field from a text field to a formula field. However, if any IDs were also to change, it would be devastating for my automations managed by Zapier.

I was hoping someone here could help with the answer before I move forward with the change. Thanks so much in advance!

I've never used Zapier,

The record ID won't change.
If you are referencing that field externally via scripting or API, you may need to modify it because the type will change.
