There is a currently built airtable with a field project name and information on the project. I want to make a new tab that can be used as a form. This form will allow the user to select a project name that has already been inputed and upload a picture. The picture will then link in according to project name, to a new column in the original project info tab.

Make the new table and form, then add a Lookup field to the original table that pulls together all the uploaded images

I have tried this but the images do not show up on the original table and I can’t figure out why. Also the form only adds new rows I cant figure out how to make it edit orevious rows.

Forms can’t edit records, they can only add new ones.
Did you add the Lookup field?
