Hi there,
I am hoping to build a form which allows individuals to 'verify' the data we have on file for them. For example, say I have a phone number and an account number I want them to confirm. I have this data in a table, and want some way to have this in the form with a yes/no tickbox to allow them to confirm that the details are correct. However, using the prefill form links I am only able to get these as editable sections. I don't want users to be able to edit the prefilled entries but rather to just verify or not verify them as correct. Any pointers on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I don't think that's possible with Airtable forms at this time I'm afraid. I'd suggest trying Fillout for this instead: https://www.fillout.com/
Fillout let's you add a text element that just displays data from the record, and so the user won't be able to edit that, and here's what the form might look like: https://form.fillout.com/t/jTtymBJKQMus?id=rec8Ahgv9P1MuY8sl
And here's the data:
---
An additional benefit would be that Fillout would allow the users to edit the records directly instead of creating new records too

Hi Isobel,
(1. if you are using Airtable Team plan)
You can set the fields you don't want users to edit as "Read-only" in the field settings.
So what happens is that though users will be able to see these fields as normal, they won't be able to actually edit them.
(2. If you are using airtable free plan)
Use a linked record in the form, and allow the record to show all relevant fields. (Users can see but not edit each field shown)
(3. Finally), Add a checkbox field in your base and airtable form (for each field that needs confirmation) where users can tick "Yes" or leave it unchecked for "No". (PS: You can use single select field as well if you prefer that).
Let me know if it works!

The information that @samueloluwagbam gave you above is inaccurate and will not solve your problem, since you were asking about forms.
The only way that you can accomplish what you are looking to achieve is to use Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable.
Fillout is 100% free and offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records from a form with read-only fields, display Airtable lookup fields & Airtable rollup fields & Airtable attachments & formulas on forms, dynamically & conditionally filter linked record fields by any values that you would like, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, create new linked records on a form, display as many fields as you want to see in a linked record selection list (including attachments), connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, limit the number of linked records that can be chosen, set advanced field validations & limitations, upload an unlimited amount of attachments simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, add choice matrixes to your forms, direct integration with hundreds of apps like Calendly & Google Maps on your forms, and so much more.
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
