Edit history of a field or formula

Is there a way to see/track who has made edits to a formula or field? This feature is very helpful for viewing individual records, but it'd be even better if I could view who is changing formulas.

You can use the "Manage Fields" feature to see who last modified the configuration of a field. However, if you want to see the previous version of the formula, you may need to restore a snapshot before the change.

We found that tracking historical data can be somewhat tricky. We've started using the record's comments to take notes on certain changes. The comments are great since they have timestamps and collaborators' names.
