Hi everyone, i'm a new user of airtable and just wanted to ask if there's a way to do this?

  1. The first Col row 1 (red box). If that specific row is not blank.
  2. It will fill out the entire next col (blue box).

Hi Fred welcome to the forums!

Simple answer, no.

Long answer, no, but getting a better understanding of how Airtbale works may give you a better solution than what you're trying to achieve.
Since Airtable is a database and not necessarily a spreadsheet, the formula you're trying to make wouldn't work. Information stored on each record is not able to change dynamically from view to view. However, implementing "Link" fields, "Look Up" fields, "Roll Up" fields, and "Formula" fields will come in very handy when we have data interacting with each other.

Hopefully, you do a bit of playing around to see if Airtable works for you. It's very exciting when you're able to implement and build your own systems and infrastructure.

I'd suggest having a look at the bases others have built over on the Airtable Universe for inspiration haha

Thank you for taking time answering my concern! Will do some exploration more on airtable. Thank you again.
