Single-select field gets mangled in formula

I use lots of formulas that pull in a single-select field as part of the data, but I have one that’s mangling the select options, and I don’t know what’s messing it up.

Any help anyone’s got is appreciated!

You’re missing a closing parenthesis before the first ampersand.
