Use formula to check or uncheck checkbox

While I’ve seen plenty of posts on formulas based on whether a checkbox is checked or not in another field, I’m curious as to whether it is possible in the inverse? I want to create a formula that will say, “If condition exists in some field, mark checkbox in another field.” Can this be done?

Hi @Cody_Winchester - not directly. There isn’t way to update a checkbox field via a formula. However, you could achieve this with Airtable automations. You could set up an automation using “when a record matches conditions”, then “update record” and set the checkbox to true or false.
