Unable to click notification to view comment

Hi, 

I had a question about comment notifications within interfaces. I have a base with a few interfaces all centered around records in one table. Each interface is accessible to a different user group - when one user group @s someone in a different user group - will it email that user if they don't have access to the interface that the original user commented on? and similarly, if they do get an email notification, where will the link take them when they click it?
