I have created an interface with several pages.
Each page needs to be filtered by a field (plus the specific filters in that element on that page).

Outcome: I want to set the field filter at the interface level, and have each element on each page consider that filter, with the element specific filters.

Why:  So that I can duplicate the interface multiple times (e.g. 30 times) and just change the filter 30 times, versus setting the field in each element, in each page, which is at a minimum 15 times per interface.

I'm not familiar with Connected elements or Record Picker, but I tried them, but they seem to be filtering just the page, not the Interface.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

To achieve interface-level filtering that applies across all pages and elements, try using a Global Filter or a Dashboard Filter if your platform supports it. This will allow you to set a single filter that affects all relevant elements and pages, saving you time and effort.

Here's a brief guide:

  1. Set Up Global Filter: Configure the global filter at the interface level to filter by the desired field.

  2. Apply Element-Specific Filters: Ensure each element has its specific filters set accordingly.

  3. Duplicate Interface: Duplicate the interface and adjust the global filter as needed, which will automatically apply to all elements and pages.

This approach should simplify the process and ensure consistent filtering across your entire interface.

Best regards,
Jack Henry

Thanks Jack; I don't see a global filter or ability to designate one; for now I've gone the painful route of duplicating interfaces.
