I'm working on a few projects that are using a gallery view, one of which is a publicly shared interface. I'm excited about the changes, but have a question about one of the new features. My users have noted the change immediately of getting the expanded image rather than going to the record detail. Does anyone know of a way to turn off this feature?
Thank you!

Yeah, if the card isn't showing any other fields the clickable area for the record details is really small and it's not as easy to open it up. I couldn't a way to turn it off either; may want to open a support ticket to confirm!

Agreed. The images take up a lot of clickable real estate 😊. I understand its purpose, but for a lot of use cases, seeing the image bigger isn't the priority use for the gallery.

I am also having this issue. Users are confused when they click on a record in gallery view about why the record is not opening. Will a setting be released for this?
