Hi, @MBock:

I'm an Airtable consultant and offer anyone a free 30-minute session to discuss your project. We can put together a plan for you to get started and I can answer any questions you may have. Feel free to book some time with me here

Best of luck!

Leslie

Hi @MBock , I'd be happy to help with this!

I'm pretty active on the forums so you can get a grasp of how I work from my activity here as well as some reviews, and I've got a bunch of example projects that you can find here!

If you think I could help, here's a link to schedule a free half hour call to see if we're a good fit!

Best of luck either way!

Hey @MBock

I think your starting point is not the Airtable (as a tool) or a consultant, but your business operations.

Do you have a plan for your operations and flows? Did you consider the plan with your growth goals in the next 1-2 years?

First do 1-2 hours of work to map your processes, the needs, and pain points. Every time I do this with a client they conclude that they saw part of their business they didn't know them...

Next step select your stack, Airtable is a perfect place to get started but if you want to automate more complex processes this is not enough, since Airtable is a database system and not cost-efficient for more than 8 users, right?

The third step is versioning, don't build something huge from the first day this is going to cost you thousands $ for the first month, and the new system will not be easy to adapt from the team. Also, based on my experience your needs change as you grow, the huge system is not easy to predict correctly this growth's needs and not easy to adjust..

Start from the first MVP (minimum valuable product), this version should be delivered in 1-2 weeks max and must solve all your main pain points in money cost or time spent on work.

Keep working with the team for the next version and the final big system will be right on your fit!

Last but not least, the main value of working with a tool like Airtable is ownability. This means that you as a business owner keep the ownership of your system without being addicted to any person who is the only guy in the world who knows your system's setup. You need a consultant only to build it very fast, since every consultant is more experienced than you and helps you build it very fast.

Very glad to schedule a conversation with no commitment to and share my suggestions for your business, feel free to DM me if that works for you.

Thanks
