Hi,

I wanted to provide a link to a separate site in the help text of a specific form field. Is there a way I can add links to that or is it all just plain text?

it just works… once you click “open form” at the top, urls are converted into links

Should have clarified more, apologies. Can I hyperlink specific words within the help guidance? So, in your screenshot, link xyz.com under the word “importance”

No; currently you can only enter the explicit URL text. (The Form editor evidently uses some sort of prefabricated widget for handling the URL, but so far I can’t find any way to force it to let me edit the linked text.)

Similar request. Surprisingly little comment or support for this currently.

Would be great to be able to add html links and custom buttons

Yeah, I could really use the ability to hyperlink text. It looks so odd having a long link display out of context.

Yes, it would be super helpful to be able to add linked text, HTML.

Yeppers, markup or HTML would be great here!

Agreed. Four years and this is still an outstanding feature request.

+1 on better URL handling

+1 on this topic for me throwing it into the abyss.

Wish they would get this fixed!

Indeed, when can we expect a fix for this issue ?
Do we know if it is currently been upped to Airtable team?

fillout.com lets you make an Airtable form and format all of the question text, e.g. if you’re looking to add hyperlinks or format the text like a word-doc. It’s free and quick to set up if you want to give it a shot!

I made a quick example below with a hyperlink in some help text:
