Hi!
I have a table with too many views, and I want to make one of the views into a separate table. I tried downloading the csv, but it doesn’t have the same icons and checkmarks, etc.
Thanks!

Icons, checkmarks, and such are not part of your data; they are interpreted based on your data. As such, when you import the CSV file, you need to re-establish all of the interpretive elements of the sheet (i.e., set up pick lists, colors, etc).
This is no different than the way other spreadsheets and database applications work. If you create a new sheet in Excel and import some CSV from another sheet where formatting options were configured, the sheet doesn’t magically reconfigure itself to match the sheet from where the data originated.
One approach -
- Duplicate the table.
- Open the duplicate and rename appropriately.
- Delete all the views you don’t want in the new table.
Make sense?

Um, no. I am not the guy who should be referred to as a genius. The sticky note guy; he’s a genius. The first dude that put a teeny umbrella in a drink; he’s a genius.
But thanks for saying it!
