We currently use a piece of software to track our orders on a daily basis.
I want to bring the raw data in and have it sort the line items together so I can create automated roll ups on clients and orders and products.
Rather than manually linking the records is there an easy way to do this?
If the input in your “client name” field in your “order” table is the same in the input in the primary field of your “client” table (eg 2 x “single line text” field), then you can change the “client name” field into a linked record field and it will link automatically. If a client name doesn’t exist in your “client” table, it will make a new linked record.
