Hi –
We’re testing out the new matrix block as a way to view a hiring pipeline, with one row per open position, one column for each stage in the recruiting process (phone screen, in person interview, etc), and candidates showing up as cards. The idea seems to work nicely, except that you can only see a few cards in each matrix “cell” because the matrix rows aren’t large/high enough. Unlike regular AirTable views, there doesn’t seem to be an option to make the row height larger or smaller. Has anyone figured out how to do this?
Thx,
Ramon

+1 Would love to see this as an option. Better yet, make the row heights dynamic and adjust automatically based on number of records (perhaps with a minimum height setting - so you can still have a drop area for dragging records around).

Any word from Airtable on this?

It would be nice to have design choices as settings within the matrix app for sure. My preference would be to allow for presenting the row headers horizontally to decrease the row height, and also being able to freeze the row and column headers, making it look a bit more like a spreadsheet than a calendar.
It’s a great tool, and the large boxes are great for certain use cases, it would just be nice to have the option.
