Mac App Still Requires Rosetta 2

I was under the impression that Airtable had abandoned their Mac app a while ago, but today saw that it had an update. However, even this newer version still is not Universal for running natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Is there any sort of ETA on a Universal Airtable Mac app?

I like having the separate app precisely so that it is not in my web browser, but would prefer a native app on my M1 Mac.

It’s always a possibility that Airtable will abandon their Mac desktop app. The fact that they haven’t created a native Apple Silicon app yet is not a great sign for the future. But I would recommend sending an email to support@airtable.com to ask them about the possibility of a native Apple Silicon app. Please post back here with whatever answer they give you!
