Hi Community,
I have created a form, with a number of single select fields. When you got to enter, a blank field appear above the single select options - you can click on this, but it is not showing in the field in the back end. There are two options there, but the user end you can select a third non-existent option?
The single selects are required fields, and the form has existed for a while without these glitches.
Any tips welcome - though FYI, scripting (which the Airtbale bot told me to do) is a bit beyond my capabilities
Thanks

Hey @WanakaShow!
I'm not fully getting what is it that you are trying to do. Would you like to allow users to create new options on the Single Select field from the form itself if none of the existing options suits their needs?
If so, this is not possible, but there are different workarounds. For example, you could:
Have an "Others" option on the single select.
Have a new field called "Others" (single line text).
Show Others field on the form conditionally, if the "Others" option has been selected on the single select.
If you'd like to create a new Option with the value entered on the new field, you can push that to the single select field using an automation.
Is this what you are looking for?
Otherwise, please provide further detail and I'd be happy to help out.

Hm, are you talking about this? If so, when you try submitting that it should error out
If not, could you provide a screenshot of what it looks like?

Exactly - this happens here as well. I'd like to get rid of the empty blank, for which I can see absolutely no real use
