Suggestions/Ideas to develop Custom Apps on Airtable

Hi All,

We are a group of engineers interested in building custom apps that can be integrated inside Airtable as we think Airtable has everything in it. According to us, it’s one application that fits everything. We as a group want to understand if there are any use cases on which we can build an app and place it on the airtable marketplace as a free open source app. All suggestions, ideas and use cases are welcome. I have a database that uses tags. When a new tag is added, I have to manually change everything. This sucks because there are hundreds and hundreds of rows! I was hoping that I can create a separate table with all the tags in it and when I add tags to that table, it would be available in the dropdown menu. I know I can do this with a linked record?, but the search feature I want to keep would not be available, which is the toggle feature below. The linked method does not show the user what tags…

I said I was considering building it, but I haven’t started on it.
