When creating a Form view, it would be helpful to be able to specify a “Read Only” view for a specific field. I am using linked records to display data from other tables but in some cases, only want to display the pertinent data, with no ability to modify it, or to add a new record. Not seeing that this is possible at the moment.

Welcome to the community!
Yes, that would be a cool feature!
That is currently only possible with an external service, such as On2Air: Forms.

Our miniExtensions form supports this functionality natively. You can simply toggle any field to be read-only so users can see, but not edit existing data.
