I see this option "Copy field URL" in the dropdown menu when right-clicking on a field header:

I am intrigued by it and what it is useful for. I cant find mention of it in the docs, other than a screenshot that contains it but doesn't explain why: https://support.airtable.com/docs/field-type-overview

Anyone have any idea what it is used for? If I paste it into a blank tab it does load the base then highlight the appropriate field, but that seems like a bit of a lonely specialised use-case for a whole menu item...

I use this almost daily to help my newer users find the field I'm referencing in tables with hundreds of fields. Like you said, not sure if that's a widespread use case or not, but I personally am glad that it's so easy to get to.
