What is records limit

but what does 1200 records per base limit means??
does it mean users count

A row in a table is a record - so it’s the total number of rows in all of your Tabs (Tables) in your base.

Making sure of something here. If I have a table of people’s names and then another table of locations, and I link them. Lets say I have 50 people’s names and 50 states they could possibly live in. That means my base will have 100 records total, regardless if I link people to all the states?

But, if I have two columns in one base, name and location, and put in each location, then I will only have one table with 50 total rows, so just 50 records?

It seems as though linking is unduly penalized in this way. Am I misunderstood?
