We are currently consolidating our style guide in Airtable. It would be of great help if a new HEX field and a new COLOR field were introduced to use as a design color for fields, text, shapes or backgrounds in interfaces. The new COLOR field would then display the color of a selected HEX field, both in tables as in interfaces. Along that same line it would be great if Admins could define global HEX colors for the entire workspace, so these colors can be used to brand the user experience for everyone. These custom colors would then show up as a custom color list everywhere in Airtable, where colors can be used/selected.

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...Summary: I want more control if you are going to have this feature let me add my own values and use it or not use it if I want to. Rename what records are called for each level - To rename what each record in a List view is called (i.e. "Task" vs. "Record") use the customized terminology feature. Reasons why I like it: I like it because it is useful to see the context change for each record in each table based on what kind of record is contained in it. How does is solve the user problems? ... Reasons why I don't like it: I don't like it because I don't have control over what I call records I don't want to pick from a pre-built list I want at least to add my own value and not be forced to use the list that I am given. I use field names that really help me identify what table I am using and if I can't use the unique field name that I create then it makes it hard to know what field is being used. What do I do if I have two tables where the records are called the same thing how can you tell them apart?

I would love the ability to reshuffle and group Automations. I often have 10-20+ automations in one Base and they are created at different times. It would be a great help if i could organize them in a chronological, or dependant, order as i add automations to the list. Currently if i create an automation that is the 2nd to trigger in the base but i created it months after the others that already exist, it sits at the bottom of the list and makes it very difficult to remember which Automation triggers in which sequence. (I currently have a stack of 6 automations that trigger one after another but are all jumbled in the Automation tab)

There should be a place to submit, access and maintain verified databases that are useful across specific industries. For example, a base with all the current Members of U.S. Congress with fields like Name, State, District (etc); or a base with all Airports with their time zone, city and state. Or a list of every country or state with abbreviations, etc. I think it would be a welcome addition to the community.

There greatly needs to be a filter in an interfaces Revision History. It should show as a pill next to the word Revision History, just like the filter pill shows on the new Record List interface. Or it could be next to the bell icon for changing the watching comments option. This way if you are viewing revision history you can narrow in on a specific field(s) to see only those revisions.

Currently when writing in right to left languages (Hebrew, Arabic etc.) the text is shown pretty poorly when the text includes English or punctuation marks.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Would love if we could add in a personalized onboarding flow for users in the interfaces we're building. Ex. Be able to add in lightboxes that say "What's this?" for new features or if it's the first time someone is opening a base a step by step flow showing what fields are important in the interface. How does is solve the user problems? A lot of user training and documentation has to be created outside of Airtable to help our users understand what is going on in the tool. Looks like an opportunity to Airtable to take part of that documentation process. How was this validated? Personal experience in creating documentation processes and having to screenshot Airtable interfaces to basically do this manually in Miro. Who is the target audience? Interface users and those building interfaces for their organization.

Amazing Airtable team, please give us folders to organize those Automations. I have about 50 and have to plow through them. Ideally I would like to organize the automatons into folders and (in my case) I would name the folder similarly as the tables names where the automations are being used. That would make it easier to find the right automation I am looking for.

What is the proposed idea/solution? Automation monitoring dashboard. It would be wonderful to have a way to see all automations currently in progress (sometimes they can get backed up and you need to click through each one to see if there are any that are jammed up / in-progress), as well as list things like the average speed of each automation, automation runs that have failed, etc, and centrally manage logs and alerts related to automations. How does is solve the user problems? Right now this data is scattered, and it is incredibly cumbersome to manage bases that have more than a few automations. Additionally, error messages are only sent to the last user to edit an automation, making troubleshooting a difficult and opaque process. Who is the target audience? Primarily, Airtable enterprise customers or others who rely extensively on Airtable automations to support powerful workflows.

Just to ensure I'm using the jargon correctly, I believe an 'Interface' is a groups of 'Pages' -- with that out of the way, I wonder if it would be relatively 'low hanging fruit' to offer the ability to move a Page to another Interface within the same Base? Why would you want to do this? The Enterprise plan has granular permissions that control which Interfaces can be accessed by which users/groups. A Page in an interface might be useful to multiple groups, but that doesn't mean I want multiple groups to have access to the entire Interface. This results in having to re-create Pages in different Interfaces that have the appropriate permission settings. A function to move a Page to a different Interface (within the same Base of course) would be a significant 'quality of life' improvement and time-saver in this situation. It could live in the page's '...' menu (see screenshot)
