What is the proposed idea/solution? ...include an option for automation on field updates to not trigger on each keystroke (i.e. to trigger when focus is lost on the watched field or some other solution) How does is solve the user problems? ...triggering automations on each keystroke causes several problems, especially with two-way sync either within Airtable or with external sources (discussed here: https://community.airtable.com/t5/automations/automation-starts-immediately-after-the-first-keystroke/td-p/101927) How was this validated? ...I have a base that this is causing issues for Who is the target audience? ...anyone who has automations in bases that are enabled with two-way sync

What is the proposed idea/solution? Be able to group and/or hide tables in a base. For example I am linking to records in other bases, so tables are being imported into bases. I'd like to hide these synced tables to keep the base organzied and focused for users. How does is solve the user problems? Helps with staying organized and keeping a base clean. I'd like to hide these synced tables to keep the base organized and focused for users. It could help clearly show which tables are meant to be interacted with, while other tables are purely due to being referenced, thus wanting to hide them. How was this validated? ? Who is the target audience? Everyone using Airtable

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...User is able to select multiple Views. Any changes applied to the first selected View are applied to the other selected Views (e.g. Column Width, Column Order, "Hide fields", "Filter", "Group", "Sort", "Color", "Row Height") How does is solve the user problems? ...Currently the process is manual for each View. This can be extremely time consuming and prone to human error, that can affect Synced Tables. Who is the target audience? ...Users who have more than one View per Table, especially users with a large number of Views per Table.

Would be nice if we could have a way to manually sync a synced base from within an interface - I've designed interfaces for all our team's workflow's, but if you edit data in another base you still need to manually go to the table right click on the name, and click sync, then go back and wait. This is a pretty cluttered workflow to just get updates. Would be even better if there was two-way sync (edit on either side of the sync) and/or constant automatic syncing, but in lieu of those features this would be nice.

What is the proposed idea/solution? ... A new feature that transposes the Rows and Columns of a View. How does is solve the user problems? ... It is useful to transpose the Rows and Columns of a Table for for viewing and / or calculations. In Airtable it is more efficient to create Records for time rather than Fields (e.g. each Row is a unit of Time like a Week, Month, Quarter, Year, etc. and not the column). The ability to see each unit of Time as a column moving from left to right is standard practice. How was this validated? ...This is a core feature to all spreadsheet applications. Who is the target audience? ...All Users

What is the proposed idea/solution? Currently, automations from bases don't activate if that base hasn't been used in a while, unless those bases have automations which are timed. This creates a problem if there are bases which have synced tables from other bases which haven't been used in a while, so the automations don't fire, even if the data syncs at regular intervals. This means that any data in those synced tables which might be modified by these automations aren't updated as they should be, as the automations aren't firing. It makes sense to me that the bases which have tables synced to other bases should automatically 'wake' when their synced tables are synced to ensure any data in those synced tables is synced. Currently, I use an automation on a timer to automatically wake the base, which is fine, but that also contributes to my automation limits, which is not ideal. How does is solve the user problems? This would prevent data which relies on automations to stay up-to-date does not get outdated because of a sleeping base. How was this validated? I have a table synced from another base which updates it's data every hours. This synced table goes out-of-date after a while even if the destination base has been regularly active. Who is the target audience? Probably business-enterprise users who rely on up-to-date data from synced tables.

Can synced tables be changed to allow syncing from within the same base? Currently, creating a synced table does not allow syncing from a table in the same base. When only one source was allowed, this was reasonable, as creating a synced copy of a table in the same base doesn’t make sense. Now that you can have multiple sources, there are valid use-cases for this. For example, the map app only lets you to work with one view, and I would like to visualize the addresses from multiple tables in one map. I can use multi-source synced tables create a single table for use by the map app, but this now must be in a separate base, due to the originally mentioned constraint.

I’ve just been trying out the XML import block. It would be really useful for us, but you can’t currently import XML data into a field type which is “Link to another record”. You can do this with the CSV import block. It would be excellent if the XML import block supported this too.

When using the coding block to edit code the documentation for Selecting a table table.selectRecordsAsync could use a lot more example code.
For example - finding a specific record … geting it’s ID … then updating the record with new info… a common practice.
Think in terms of the typical DB SQL select command…

What is the proposed idea/solution? ...Allow copy and pasting "Options" and "Colors" from one Single Select or Multi-Select Field to another. How does is solve the user problems? ...Users have to manually enter "Options" and "Colors" for each Single Select or Multi-Select Field currently. This can be extremely time consuming and prone to human error, that can affect Multi-Syncs.
