What is the proposed idea/solution?

Have something similar as Monday's "My Work" tab where I can see all tasks assigned to me across all bases. 

How does is solve the user problems?

This would allow me to:

  • easily see my workflow and workload
  • access all tasks assigned to me in different bases in one single location
  • stay on top of my priorities and tasks without having to jump from base to base
How was this validated?

I am not sure what this means, but there are a number of unanswered records in the community with the question on how to see all of my tasks from different bases in one place. The closest to a solution that is available is a table with multiple sync's from the other bases - but this is manual and requires someone to add the table/view sync everytime a new base/table is created.

Who is the target audience?

possibly everyone using airtable for:

  • customer management
  • project management
  • workflow
  • Systems with approval processes

Yeah, we really need this for a build as we’re looking to migrate from ClickUp.

It's the one thing I really pushed for when bringing my org in - and no one could understand what I was asking for or had a good answer.  It's the one thing Asana and Monday have that is missing here.  

If the field exists to connect to users, and send notifications, then it can definitely be built to allow for a dashboard function aggregating all of those records - it would be game-changing.

With that, it would also be great to see change logs of who did what at a table, base, or user level.

I second it. Testing Airtable and it’s a big deal to be used for project management and task management use case

Any updates on this? I agree that adding this feature would be a significant advantage for Airtable, especially since other popular project management platforms like Asana, Notion, Monday.com, and ClickUp already include it. Displaying this on the homepage would make it easier for team members to see all the tasks and records they're assigned to, helping ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It would also clean up the interface of each Table's View, which could streamline workflow for a team.
