What is the proposed idea/solution?
The usability of the UI isn't designed around common design patterns.
- Tables listed as hozital tabs - looking for tables is a high use/common behaviour - horizontal scrolling is awkward
- Wasted real estate on the 'create a view' panel - this functionality is often used when setting up bases, but seldom used thereafter, this real estate could be put to better use
Solution:
- List tables vertically, in alphabetical order (and provide sorting alternatives) - similar to other database design patterns. Use the space currently taken by the 'create a view panel'
