So I absolutely LOVE using Airtable… but I’m finding that using the browser is a huge CPU + RAM sink. So I’ve been working with a small team of developers on a totally new way to get around this problem.
We’re calling it “Fractal”, an it’s a streaming web browser. It looks and feels exactly like Chrome, but it runs on a private CPU in the cloud. Think of it as Netflix for web browsing — your computer is just receiving pixels and doing none of the work. It’s a super lightweight way to browse, and it also takes advantage of the fast internet speeds of cloud data centers.
Now that Fractal is in its “beta” phase, I’d love to give out some demos to all the Airtable users who need their RAM back. Feel free to message me if you want to give it a try or chat about how it works.
