Most of my bases have a "Users" table that lists all of the potential people involved in the workflow and their email addresses.You can then have people select non-paid users via a linked field on the form, and use an automation to email that person.
On the new homepage, click on "All workspaces" in the top left:Then, click on the three dots on whichever workspace you want to access the workspace settings:
I use this almost daily to help my newer users find the field I'm referencing in tables with hundreds of fields. Like you said, not sure if that's a widespread use case or not, but I personally am glad that it's so easy to get to.
