Same here. We track jobs by job name and sometimes people will refer to a job by slightly different names. When we realize the jobs are the same I would like to combine the records.
Please update/fix this. As discussed, the longer it goes the more formulas I have that include a *.01 calculation will need to be fixed. Just to be clear, it’s worth the short-term pain to fix as soon as you can.

I’d like to see this too. I link an account (required) and a contact (optional) to an opportunity. I’d like to only see contacts from the previously selected account when entering the contact.
