I am aware that you can pick and choose which fields you want visible in a synced base. However, if you already synced a base, but want to limit the fields that are visible is there a way to do that without having to reupload the base?

I'm pretty sure when you change the view from which the sync is created, those changes are reflected in the target base.  So to limit the fields, changing the source will remove those from the target.

If you hide the fields in the source view, it will be automatically hidden in the synced view too, no need to re-sync the view again.

I hid the views in my main base and went to sync in my secondary base. Now I am getting this error message.

Hiding views and hiding fields are different and unrelated to the error you are seeing.

If you want to edit the records in your target base, each source you are syncing from must have editing enabled.

In order for me to 'enable editing' do I need the business plan? We currently have the team plan.
