Hey AI User Group! 👋

Claude is quickly changing how people are building in Airtable, and we’re hosting a live session to show what that actually looks like in practice.

Join us for our next Airtable AI User Group where Anna Rigby (Solutions Consulting Manager, Airtable) will walk through workflows using Claude + Airtable.

We’ll cover things like:

  • Automating repetitive workflows
  • Generating structured outputs directly into Airtable
  • Using Claude as a thought partner for your work in Airtable

If you’ve been experimenting with Claude (or just curious where to start), this should give you a clear sense of what’s actually working.

Wow! We had over 1000 people attend today’s event -- can’t wait to share the recording here later today.

If you attended and didn’t get your question answered, feel free to ask it here, or in the main Airtable AI user group page where your peers can jump in and also help you out.

Also apologies for the abrupt ending - the livestream had an auto-ending setting that concluded the session right at 60 minutes. 😅

Recap coming shortly!

Hey Builders!

This event was our biggest one yet, thanks to everyone who could make it! Anna Rigby, Airtable Solutions Consultant, joined us for a live demo of the Claude + Airtable connector in action, and it did not disappoint.

Here's the quick rundown in case you missed it (and check out the recording at the end):

The Demo

Anna set up a fictional scenario working for a kitchen appliance brand called Lumio, with customer feedback in one Airtable base and sales/returns data in another. From there, she showed us how Claude can:

  • Analyze product feedback directly from an Airtable base, pulling out themes and linking back to specific records so you can verify everything
  • Synthesize across multiple bases by combining customer sentiment with sales and returns data to surface the most urgent issues
  • Enrich with web research by pulling in competitor info and market trends to give your internal data more context
  • Create action items back in Airtable by building a new table, adding records, assigning owners, and linking to related data
  • Review your base schema and suggest structural improvements based on Airtable best practices (even a 5+ year builder learned something new here)
  • Generate an executive slide deck summarizing the full analysis, branded and ready to present to leadership

From a voice question about feedback data to a CEO-ready deck in just around 20 minutes. 💥

Setup and Good to Know

  • No plan restrictions to connect Airtable to Claude
  • You control the scope by choosing which workspaces or bases Claude can access
  • Your Airtable permissions are respected (creator, editor, commenter, read-only)
  • You decide what Claude can do with configurable settings for read-only, approval-required, or autonomous actions
  • Rollback is built in through Airtable's existing snapshot and revision history

Anna also covered Skills (repeatable AI workflows, no coding needed), Projects (shared knowledge for collaborative work), and Scheduled Tasks (recurring analysis that can trigger Airtable automations).

Watch the Full Session

The recording has the complete demo and Q&A where we dug into permissions, privacy strategies, automation workarounds, and more. Definitely worth a watch, and we hope to see you at the next one!
