I know many people have been waiting for a HYPERLINK() function. This is not that, but its as close as we can get today.
Check out how this simple script can create links that are dynamic and formatted with the text you want instead of the ugly full URL.

This works great! If I have a lookup in another table to the formatted text, the lookup loses the link. Is there a way to retain the rich-text formatting in a lookup or rollup?

This is really awesome- thank you. I got it working- but question: any advice on how to combine this with a find & replace? Basically, I have a long text para that I want to insert a hyperlink into.
So- your script makes the link. how can I get it into the para?
