Has anyone found a reliable way to handle CSV imports in Airtable when the source files are inconsistent?We currently have a custom CSV import flow where users upload files containing customer and account data. Before importing into Airtable, we need to validate required fields, data types, and business rules, then map the uploaded columns to our internal schema.The biggest challenge is dealing with files that don’t follow the expected format. Different customers use different column names, some required fields are missing, date formats vary, and duplicate records need to be identified before the import proceeds. We also need to provide users with clear error messages so they can fix issues without contacting support.Right now, most of this logic is custom-built and becoming difficult to maintain. • Linked Record on-screen appearance has changed for the worse very recently specifically in Airtable’s app on i(Pad)OS (v26.5.2) with in my case a 6th-Gen iPad mini (2021) and iPhone SE (2020). Normally we get 3 content lines on screen for each linked record ::: #1: primary key ; #2: a few additional field names ; #3: their content ; Now on my iPad/iPhone since a few days that third line is empty all over the place, in whichever base I check. Well, after going back and forth with Omni for quite a while, I think I've finally reached the point where I need to ask about this specific scenario.I have a table where each record generates a unique 6-character code, something like X8MMA3.Now I'd like to create a public Form where the first field is simply a text input for the user to enter the code they've received separately (for example, by email). This code corresponds to a value in that table. The user doesn't see any other codes—it's not a dropdown or a linked record selector. It's just a plain text field where they type the code they were given.If the code exists, the user should be able to continue filling out the form and submit it. Submitting the form would create a new record in another table containing the user's inputs along with the code they entered.The key requirement is this: if the user enters a code that doesn't exist in the table, the form should immediately display a message informing them that the code is inval
Hi, i’ve tried to remove access on business leavers in the admin panel but users reappear within seconds - even if they are just viewers and have no ownership of workspaces & bases. These are also users whose google account are deactivated. Has anyone else been able to get around this? thanks,Gemma

Airtable doesn’t allow us to set an attachment size limit in Airtable forms. Why? This is so critical while having an attachment field in public forms especially. You just can’t bear any random person uploading GBs of file.

Hello all,I am building an online registration form for clients to sign up for a Christmas Hamper program. The information I need to collect is the personal information of the client (i.e. name, address, income etc) and all the personal information of all household members. I created a base with two tables, one is the client table (for all the client data) and another table called HH_Members that holds a record for each member of the family (including name, DOB, gender etc.)Is there a way to publish a form that can collect the client information and all the household members and store it in the respective tables?How does one collect information with a “1 to many” relationship and store it in linked tables?Thanks in advance for your help,Zepppo

Over the last 5 or more years, I’ve entered many thousands of records in our airtable, which I use to manage our small business services. Hundreds of entries a week, and I’ve always used a spreadsheet style page to do this. Then I can hit shift+enter, create new record, start typing to find customer, hit enter then tab to next field and do the same for product/service. This is using a field type that links to other tables for customers and products/services. Today, I go to do this and something changed that makes this same method seemingly impossible. It’s like each of the fields is now a separate entity that when you enter it, any tabbing or arrow keys just change position on things within the same cell. Now to do the exact same thing I’ve been doing for years, I have to ‘Shift+Enter’ to create a new record, then hit esc to deactivate the cell, then use arrow keys to get back to the start, then navigate to the first cell and hit enter to activate it, press tab until the search + i
We use Page Designer to generate a short price list (30 to 50 pages). This doc has images and text and, until few months ago (Sept 2025), the file size was less than 2MB.We recently added some procuts and we added some rows to this price list: the file size bloated to 30MB!We follow the same process of printing with “good” (not “best”) image quality before exporting a pdf. We also tried removing the images, printing black and white or rededesegning from scratch the document.I fear something changed in the back-end...If that was the case, it’ìd make page designer useless to us. Anybody else with the same experience? Or ideas on how to fix it? Thank you
There have been a couple of issues reported like this with no answer and are now closed for replies, so I’m making a new one. Airtable is great, love using it, but this very basic interaction of scrolling is quite frustrating. The scroll seems hard-coded to move a fixed number of rows. Currently on a normal 16:9 screen for me, this means what used to be the bottom row is then off-screen up above after I scroll, and that’s with rows that are just 2 lines tall. The simplest fix seems like it would be to decrease the hard-coded number of fixed rows that move with each scroll. Less simple but probably more adaptive would be to adjust the number of rows per scroll based on row height and how many are visible on screen, to ensure that the bottom one becomes the top one.I’ll take even the simple fix!
I have a problem when i try to download media files (videos) from my data sheet on my phone(pixel with GrapheneOS) i can’t i don’t get a popup and i don’t get any information why. I gave all the permissions to the app and it still doesn’t work. When i click share i get a popup with a name of the file and a progress bar that is half full and it never moves. Can someone please help i need to move media files across multiple pixel devices and from multiple people contributing so this would really help but just doesn’t work?
I’m having an issue getting a hold of sales/support. I’m on a team account right now but was planning to possibly upgrade to incorporate Airtable fully into my business but I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone real. I’ve emailed the sales department twice and I get confirmation emails from what I thought was a real person but I’m assuming it’s AI because they never respond once I email back my availability for a call. I’ve also tried the support chat function but it seems like that button does nothing for me.
Hi all,Currently thinking of getting an Enterprise Scale licensing for the organization and interested in using the Enterprise SSO to integrate with our Entra ID tenants.I have read the documentation, and the configuration looks straight forward but have a question when it comes to multiple Entra ID tenants.With one Airtable organization (If this is the right term to use), can I have 2 Entra ID tenants connect to it with SSO? (Example: I want OrganizationA Entra ID tenant and OrganizationB Entra ID tenant be able to log into the same Airtable organization. Gmail integration — pulling the email body directly into a record and using AI to parse out action items » Seems like extra work for the client to copy and paste email body. PDF attachment — client saves the email as a PDF, attaches it to the opportunity record, and Airtable parses the action items from there. » Can airtable do this? I have a workflow on make.com that is using Airtable nodes to process the data. Very important for the workflow are the the Status fields in the tables from Airtable. One node hast to update a Status field, but I am getting the error, that the field name is unknown. make.com die a trouble shooting and they say, that the error is coming from Airtable and not from make.com. Hello, I’m not a developer and need some advise. We have a fairly basic database that we use for internal support requests. When our support team closes a ticket, we would like for them to be able to select a pre-formatted response that fits the scenario but that will also allow them to edit it to fit their personality in a specific note field. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
I’m invoicing time records by project, by month. Each time record has a “Time Task” which comes from a linked lookup table. There’s some 42 time tasks and more may be added in the future. When creating a monthly invoice I want to summarize the hours for each task utilized by that monthly collection of time records for each project invoiced.e.g.5/1/2026 2.0 hours Preparation5/19/2026 1.3 hours Preparation5/21/2026 1.0 hours Preparation*Total Preparation 4.3 hours 5/8/2026 1.5 hours Development5/8/2026 5.8 hours Development*Total Development 7.3 hours I only want to show the * totals, not the actual individual time records.Ideally these totals would simply go into a separate table linked to the invoice.I really don’t want to use a third party tool like Make or Zapier. Hi there, I’ve set-up a Airtable to Google Calendar sync. The event (record from Airtable) on Google shows the start date/time and end date/time. However I’d like to add the address to the Google event from my Airtable data. Is there an option to bring this data from Airtable to the Google Calendar event please? Any support would be great! Washington County was established in 1777 and the county seat, Jonesborough, was established in 1779; the oldest county and town in Tennessee. We have over a 1,000 family folders and over 400 local history folders along with books, microfilm, maps, etc. in the library genealogy collection. We are building a searchable database on these family folders and local history folders. In this data base, we also set up through ‘extensions’ a search engine.We want to share this database with family researchers. But we would like to share with them a “read only” database that is searchable. This is our problem. How can we set up a “read only” database that researchers could use? We do not want to put this database on the internet. Is there a way that we can set up a searchable database that is only ‘read only?’
