Hi guys, hoping you can help me out here. I have ‘Table A’ which is used for collecting issues. I have ‘Table B’ that will be used to track the work being done to resolve the issues from Table A. I’m looking for a way to automatically populate predefined data fields from Table A into Table B when you put a ‘tick’ in Table A.For example: If I have Issue 1, Issue 2 and Issue 3 in Table A and I put a ‘tick’ on Issue 2, I want the predefined fields from Table A to then automatically populate in Table B. Any help you’re able to give would be greatly appreciated   

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?

I am trying to open Airtable in Chrome but when I enter a url into a browser and hit return, the screen turns white and my Airtable is tab at the top of browser spins as though it was loading.  Then nothing happens.  The same url works on my colleagues computers no problem (by way of trouble shooting, my internet is working fine, OS and browser is up to date and running most recent version, I cleared my cache and browsing history, disabled all extensions).  I can get it to load in Safari but I want to use Chrome (I’ve set up some extensions and automations in Chrome and don’t want to leave this browser).  Not sure what to do!  

Hey everyone, I’ve been using Airtable for a bit now and I love how flexible it is, but I keep running into issues when it comes to forms. Whenever I need a form with conditional formatting, multi-step process, or really anything that goes beyond a “submit once” form. Are there any good tools/workarounds that could achieve this?

I am trying to figure out how to show growth of a set of records over time, cumulatively. I have created a column in my table that shows the date of when each new record was added, but when I try to graph that in Interfaces, it seems to only let me show to total number of records added in each given month, I can’t figure out how to make a chart that shows the new monthly total added to the previous monthly total to give cumulative growth over the course of the year. I have found a few previous help questions that were similar, but it seems like no one really got an answer. Is this impossible in Airtable?

I have a table of contacts that includes zip code for each contact. I want to provide a view of contacts for a given county. I can get a list of zip codes for the county, but it's too many zip codes to list each one as a separate condition on a filter.I thought about setting up a zip code table and using a linked record from the contacts table. Is there a way to create a new linked record field that links based on an existing already-populated column? There are too many records to select linked records manually.Or, is there a way to create a view with filter criteria that references another table?Thanks for any suggestions.

I’d like to build a base to track our produce prescription program. We have coupons with barcodes to distribute to the patients. Ideally I’d like the health worker to use a barcode scanner to scan the first coupon and the last coupon for each patient. Then I need to populate a table of all the coupons distributed within that range for each patient. I currently have a table set up for “patients” where health workers would assign the coupons. Then I have a table for “Coupons” where I’d like the records to be each coupon code distributed. Any help in how to do this would be appreciated!

Can anyone help me with my weekly automation to make sure all of my products from my latest product list are listed in all tables? I need a code for this: I want to check on airtable that my “inventory live”, “stock evaluation”, and “cost evaluation” bases, all include the latest products from my table: “latest product info”.

For context - I’m a literary agent and I’m trying to create a way to have a ‘live’ brochure of clients who are available for writer for hire gigs that I can share with editors. I’ve created a form which the clients can use to add and edit their details whenever they want and at the moment I have this set up to feed to a gallery interface just through the airtable interface section. It works reasonably well, but the long text field doesn’t seem to have a space big enough assigned to it in the display so a lot of the text is being cut off and I don’t want editors to be able to open the record because there’s other information there that I don’t want them to see. It’s also cutting off if the authors select more than 4 genres which is a bit frustrating.  Is there a way to adjust how the gallery interface deals with data display? Or is there another option within airtable I could look at that would enable me to customise more? I’m not very familiar with interf

Until today, I have had a Make scenario that takes attachments from incoming Gmail messages and uploads to a new record in AirTable. Today 1/23/26 at 1pm, the attachments turned into download links, and I am unable to preview my files anywhere in AirTable. Did something change? Regardless, how do I get the PDF files to upload properly to AirTable in a way where I can preview them?

Hi all!I’m having an issue of forms responses not populating into my data table after the form is submitted. This is a unique problem though, because what seems to be happening, is that when a response is submitted, by anyone, it pushes the last response through but doesn’t appear itself.For example, a coworker submitted a test response last Friday. I received the confirmation email on Friday, but the response didn’t populate into the data table UNTIL I submitted my own test response. I immediately saw my coworkers response populate into the data table but not mine, even though I received the confirmation email for my response. Has anyone encountered this before? Hello Airtable Friends!! I am trying to send automations to emails, but my automation field is not loving any of the formats I am using to store the email. I’ve got a lookup field, I’ve got a rollup field, I’ve got a formula field to put the lookup field into, and nothing!!! Can someone please point to where I’m going wrong?For some (maybe?) useful background: these fields are connected to one that is “limited to last 1”, so I only see who checked out a piece of equipment most recently, the original emails are synced from another base, and I select the field name in the drop down list so the “Field ID” keeps coming up, regardless of which field I select (the ID’s vary, though). 

I set up a Teams account for our nonprofit and got a discounted rate. Later, I found out that one of our volunteers had already created a Teams account and was paying for it. I asked AT Sales how to merge the volunteer’s account with ours, but I got a canned, unhelpful response. Can someone help with the merge?

I need to import the “Resolution” field from Jira Cloud  (Resolved, Won’t Do, Cancelled, etc) -- this is not showing up in the Standard fields, and is not listed on the Help page (https://support.airtable.com/docs/airtable-sync-integration-jira-cloud)Also wondering if there is support yet for custom fields?

Previously, PDF files stored in Attachment fields would open with an inline preview inside Airtable.Recently, clicking the same PDF files now forces a direct download ("Save as" dialog) instead of showing the preview.This happens even though:- The field is still an Attachment field- The file type is PDF- The file opens correctly if re-uploaded manuallyThis behavior worked correctly before and appears to have changed recently.Is this an intentional change in Airtable’s attachment preview behavior, or a regression?If intentional, what is the recommended way to maintain inline previews for PDFs generated via automations or external sources?

we are having a problem on some orders where the attachments are downloading when we click on the opposed to opening 

Hi all, I’ve got a company that works with lots of freelancers and I decided that instead of a service like Calendly, I’d build an interface on Airtable, in a base where they all sync their calendars so I can see their appointments overlapping, and find the “holes” where people are available to meet. It’s worked really well (using filters in the interface, so I find the exact team members I need for each meeting). The one thing is, I’m trying to protect our contractors’ privacy, and don’t want to sync any information that’s extraneous to checking their availability (I don’t want any event details other than whose calendar it’s coming from, start and end time). I’ve successfully toggled off all details EXCEPT the event title, which, it seems, cannot be toggled off.My workaround has been to create a formula field where I change the event name to “Person Busy,” so they don’t show up in my interface, which works fine, but I wanted to see if anyone knows of a way to

I’m using the utility function getHexForColor to get the color the user defined in a single select field and use it in my interface.  However, the hex colors I’m getting do not match the colors used on the AirTable UI.For example for a selection I have, the Airtable Color is blueBright and when I call getHexForColor  I get #2d7ff9, however, the AirTable UI uses #166ee1.I also noticed shouldUseLightTextOnColor doesn’t seem to work well on dark mode but I think that’s expected as I think dark mode is still experimental, right?
