Hey!!For the last few months the idea of running a Community Led Airtable Hackathon has been lingering in my head. When, how, and what is not clear at all to me yet, so I wanted to open up the discussion early on to make sure this is really community led.Brainstorming:Format: Virtual (for sure). Synchronous (everyone builds during a given time frame) or asynchronous (projects submitted over a few weeks). Themes: Specific theme (e.g. procurement, marketing ops, nonprofits, etc.), or leave it totally open to “build whatever you enjoy”? Why I think this could be fun: A chance to show off creativity. A way to learn from each other’s builds. An opportunity to meet new peers. A reason to push Airtable to its limits in unusual or inspiring ways (different to the day-to-day work we do for our clients or within our organizations).  Would love to get some input from the usual suspects here, and from any other Airtable enthusiast!​@ScottWorld​@TheTimeSavingCo ​@DisraeliGears01 ​@Taha-Jiruw

Hello Airtable Community,I am currently exploring ways to enhance our workflow by integrating Airtable with Microsoft Copilot. My goal is to be able to ask questions related to our Airtable data directly within Microsoft Copilot, which already has access to our other business files like emails and documents.Use Case: We use Airtable extensively for managing various aspects of our business. Having the ability to query Airtable data directly in Microsoft Copilot would streamline our processes significantly. Hello! I am trying to create a line chart in an interface that shows the number of records (leads in this instance) we received this financial year vs last financial year. I essentially want to see how we are tracking in comparison. What is the best way to go about it? I have created a formula which indicates what FY the record was created in to assist with grouping but I just cant get it to display correctly.Thanks in advance for your help! 😊

I'm trying to set up an automation so an email is sent out to a client when their video's status changes to CLIENT REVIEW. Specifying that wasn't a problem. However, when testing it, I keep getting an error message that the To field is empty. I've mapped it to a field containing an email address, and specified the exact record to use set to the correct Status, but keep getting this error. The token is set to pull the Value. I've tried the other options but get the same (non) result.How do I get this to work?Thanks

When making a list with three hierarchy levels and adding dropdown filters they don’t seem to work. When making lists of two hierarchy levels on the same base the filters do work. Is there something I’m missing or is there a bug?Thanks in advance!

I’ve been exploring different ways to structure bases for both small teams and growing organizations. On one hand, you want something simple enough for everyone to understand and use daily. On the other hand, as the team scales, you need more advanced features like automations, interfaces, and integrations.💡 My question to the community:How do you approach building Airtable systems that are simple for new users but also scalable for future growth?Would love to hear your strategies, lessons learned, or even mistakes you’ve made along the way!

I am pulling in data from a webhook to create entries.  I need to prevent entries from being created if they already exist.Is there a way to use the Find Records and Conditions to prevent this from happening?If so perhaps there is a guide somewhere?  This is a very confusing part of Airtable imo.

Hi all,I'm creating an educational curriculum for our medical trainees, and unfortunately the university we are affiliated with doesn't have a robust LMS to be able to track completion of core competencies. I'm wondering if what I'm after can be achieved with Airtable, and if so, if you might be able to help me our guide me towards resources that allow me achieve what I'm looking for.Essentially I have the following bases:- students (fields: name, email, graduation year, etc.)- Learning Case (fields: Learning Case, rotation it is associated with).Every student has the same list of learning cases that they need to complete. I need to be able to track their progress (complete or incomplete), with the goal being that when they finish their training, they've "completed" these learning cases. So to conceptualize, each student has the same master list of learning cases, where they all start as "incomplete" by default, and by the time they finish everything should be eventually marked as

How do I change my community display name.When I established my community profile a few years ago, I inadvertently picked -airtable- as my display name.I need to change this because community members think I am AirTable when, in fact, I am just a customer. Hey guys, I have two tables—Email Info and IPT. When a checkbox is clicked in Email Info for any domain,  the domain and any one corresponding email address and its ID should be updated in IPT. I may select multiple checkboxes at the same time.Inbox details have multiple emails and ids. 

Formula field {Allocation Form Recipients} = IF({Send Allocation Form},{Conditional Recipients Rollup (from Payment Schedule)}) where {Conditional Recipients ...} is a rollup field and {Send Allocation Form} is a checkbox field. Formula field {Approval Email Subject Tag} = IF( AND({Term Deal},{Allocation Form Recipients}), 'Recoupment Allocation', 'Payment' ) where {Term Deal} field is a rollup and {Allocation Form Recipients} is a formula field which I explained in #1. When the {Term Deal} rollup is empty and the {Allocation Form Recipients} formula field is also empty, the {Approval Email Subject Tag} should show 'Payment' but it shows 'Recoupment Allocation'. I tried to troubleshoot this by creating 2 separate formula fields stated below: a. _check = IF({Term Deal},1,0) b. _check copy = IF({Allocation Form Recipients},1,0) Surprisingly, these 2 formula fields work as expected. Meaning where Term Deal is blank _check is 0. When {Allocation Form Recipients} is blank, _check copy is 0.

Hi AirTable Community, I’ve been struggling with WORKDAY_DIFF formula. My team tracks reports using Airtable. We set an attendance date (AD) and a report type that are set/selected. Based on the report type, I have a formula that will add a certain number of days to the AD to calculate the draft due date (DDD). There is also an option to assign a due date should we need to override the calculated date.  Formula as follows:IF({Assigned Draft Due Date}, {Assigned Draft Due Date}, SWITCH({Report Type / Tasks}, 'ACM - ASMP', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 5), 'ACM - Audit/Survey Report', WORKDAY({Attendance Date}, 8),    etc., etc. for every report type.  My operations team also want a ‘Days Overdue Field’ so that they can quickly see if a report is overdue. The WORKDAY_DIFF field I know includes both the start date and the end date in its calculations, I can negate this by minusing 1 day in the formula. But it seems no matter what settings I use - I tried setting ‘Use same timezone for all co

I have a `rollup` column, `A` that returns a `date`.  for example, 2024-07-24.I have a `lookup` column, `B`, that returns an array of dates.  For example, 2018-07-31, 2021-07-30, 2024-10-08Is there a way to  determines if any of the dates in column `B` are within 30 days (before or after) of the date in column `A`?  I need the formula to return a boolean.

Hi Community, I have an issue with an automation - I have created this, so that when a new organisation is added, they automatically get added to my H&S Declaration table - however everytime I turn the automation on it creates a random selection of additional duplicate records in the trigger table (Organisation)? Any pointers on what I am doing wrong? Thanks 

On one of my interfaces, I added a calendar element when opening record details. It works great on desktop, but the calendar element is cut and unusable on mobile. Has anybody else had a similar issue?I tried to move the element at the bottom and middle of the record details card, but no success so far.

I own an accounting firm where we do work cyclically. I have three tables: CLIENTS (where I identify the assigned bookkeeper) EEs (lists the bookkeepers) RECURRING TASKS: (For example, Payroll for Hourly Employees) ITEM FREQUENCY: This includes Client, Task, and Frequency. EG Client A, Payroll for Hourly Employees, Bi-weekly Client B, Payroll for Hourly Employees, Weekly Based on this, I’d like to create a table (or view) that shows the bookkeeper her work within a specified time period. And, ideally, I’d like each instance of the task to be able to get ticked off (so each instance is a new record). Which is to say: Week one, the bookkeeper can see that she should run payroll for client B. Once she does, she checks it off (maybe includes the completion date and attaches the payroll report) Week two, she sees that she needs to run the payroll for Client A and B. Again, she adds the completion date and the payroll report for each. Do you have ideas about how to do this? Thank you, commu

Dear Community,I’m working on a vacation & sick leave overview. I created a form each, each of them populating a table, one for the overview of vacation requests and one for sick leave. In the employee interface, we have one calendar page. This shows atm the vacation requests for the current user. Now my question is if I can add the data from the “Sick leave” table to this one calendar page, meaning that in the calendar the employee can see the vacation as well as the sick leave info.If you need pictures for a better understanding, I’m happy to provide them. Thank you so much already!Best, Philip

Hi Everyone,I pay people through Airtable for piece-rate work. On the backend, the data is organised by tasks and by day (e.g. Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Monday; Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 – Tuesday, and so on).There’s a button that lets me “Email Payslip,” but when I use it the PDF that goes out to employees ends up jumbled. The tasks are out of order (for example: Task 3 – Wednesday, Task 2 – Tuesday, Task 4 – Monday), which makes the payslip confusing and hard for employees to read.Does anyone know how I can fix the output so the payslip shows the tasks in the correct order?Any help greatly appreciated
