Sharing a build from the last few days that genuinely surprised me at the workflow level.I work on K-12 education funding policy. I had an Airtable base called Adequacy that was supposed to model public school funding gaps state by state, but the v1 build was rough — Oregon residue in field descriptions, hardcoded formula constants, an "ADMw" field name baked in from one state's terminology, no real per-district adequacy targets.The goal was to point Hyperagent at a clean version of this base and get it to produce publication-grade adequacy analysis.Step one: terraforming with Claude + Airtable MCPThis is the part of the workflow I want to flag for this audience. I’m from Ukraine, so bare with my English.) For some months I develop game-mechanics and for a few weeks I try an implementation on Airtable. And I have some issues and some problems here. So I would be quite grateful for some help. My DB consists of lots of tables, among them are ASPIRATIONS (what I try to achieve by my actions), ACTIONS (list of actions I presume to be potentially helpful if practiced regularly), QUESTS (taking an action for some exact number of repetitions during a period of time), DAYS (every record is a day of game with according events), REPETITIONS (each repetition of each quest must be there), TRANSACTION (each gain or loss of points must be accounted for). For anyone else who hasn’t had a perfect experience with the new Custom Interface Extensions, or like me has gotten this terrible message:{“error”: “FORBIDDEN”,“message”: “You can only run your development block in the original base where it was created.”}I have found a super easy solution. If you ask Omni to build you a simple custom interface extension, you can then go and hit “Edit Source” (right below the “Share Interface” button) and change the script however you’d like. I fed it to Claude, had Claude insert itself into the interface (plus it has Airtable MCP) and now have a simple RAG for my Airtable base. But you can really change the script however you’d like, without going down the CLI/Blocks SDK route. 

Hi,I have around 50 users distributed in 20 roles and we are 2 creators.So far, my policy to manage rights is :- Open base for dashboards: creator rights for managers on read-only base containing only synced tables- Interfaces dedicated to every role: every operational role has dedicated interface with editor rights (with viewable/editable fields adapted to their function in the workflow)Drawback of this is:- users can’t share links to other teams from their interface since other roles don’t have access to them- managers feel they are hidden some information and regularly ask for access to other role interfaces- managers feel they could have improvements ideas for their interfaces by browsing through other team interfacesIn the long term, my perception is that granting rights when asked is a way to:- miss evolution of workflo

I am trying to integrate my Airtable project with Azure Devops and I find we can create or edit tickets using Airtable Azure Devops action in the automations. But I find this approach is in beta version. So when will Airtable wil make this as a stable version or is there any updates that is still going on. Like what's the meaning of the beta in this case? Hi all, I've pretty much got Airtable now doing exactly what I need it to. However, the one sticking point that I have is the custom view that I have created just misaligns then attempting to print it. Which is a critical thing in our business. I tried reaching out to support but wasn't able to get any help.I have tried the few responses to questions that I found on here but it didn't seem to fix it for me. I wonder if upgrading from the free plan to the base paid plan will solve the problem? We will need to upgrade anyway but I wanted to make sure the solution worked properly before upgrading.Any help greatly appreciated.

As such, it allows you to link records from one table to record(s) from a different table and keep such relationship on both sides.However, there are interesting use cases in which you’d want to link records from one table to records from the exact same table. For example, you might want to have one unique table for Tasks and handle hierarchy between them (e.g. Parent task, and Sub Task(s)).When creating a linked record field to its own table, you would have seen that only one field was created (the one you did manually). You would call this field Child Tasks for example, and link through it the child tasks to any parent task. Page Designer is one of the oldest Airtable extensions around. It can be useful.But the limitations can be really annoying.One of the big limitations is that it's quite difficult to create multi-page documents.
