Looking to hire a consultant that provide an audit and clean up of our data and workflow in Airtable.  Seems that several workflows are starting to break.  

I have been using top-tier Airtable since 2021. I have a very complex workspace with 100k records coming and going, 100+ users, I use new features before they are even announce, I know the stuff.Airtable should minimze the development of AI features that only work to deceive small users with the “Agents Hype”.Please, PLEASE!! Lets come back to the good old days when features were really ground breaking, really hard-core for builders and high-end users. Remember the releases of “two-way sync”, “interfaces”? This is year “What’s New” page is just sad.Airtable is getting PAINFULLY slow when you have a few syncs and formulas. Improvements in performance should be a priority over AI slop.

I've been seeing questions about managing complex contracts in Airtable - where each agreement needs different clauses, exhibits, or terms depending on the deal. Maintaining separate Word or Google Docs versions for each variation doesn't scale.The approach: Instead of duplicating documents, each clause and exhibit is a reusable Airtable record. I have been working on a quote-to-invoice workflow with our users in Airtable and wanted to share the setup in case it helps others building a similar process.The common issue is that a quote and its final invoice contain much of the same information: client details, products or services, quantities, prices, tax, and totals. Once a client accepts the quote,manually recreating that data for an invoice creates duplicate work and can introduce errors. Workflow overviewThis is the flow I use:Create a Quote record in Airtable with the client, line items, totals, and related project information. Change the quote status to Sent. An automation generates a PDF quote and emails the client an e-signature link. The client reviews and signs the quote from that link. Once every signer has completed the signature, a field on the linked Invoice record updates to Accepted. I’ve noticed that sometimes Airtable is unavailable for a couple of hours, and when I look through the incident history, I find there has already been a couple outages this year. Some of the systems I build for clients in industries like accounting or payroll systems needs 24/7 access, or at least a backup plan that kicks on while airtable gets fixed. Is there any known or solid method to provide a backup system when airtable shuts down?It’s been very unnerving to have clients tell me they can’t get on their systems that they need to operate their business.

People in Fashion loves Excel, so one of the great things about Airtable is for onboarding you can make it feel a bit like Excel.Another thing people in fashion love is printing. Lots of printing. Especially product images with annotations that explain exactly how a garment should be made or changed and is a core part of the production process. Those printouts often end up on a sewing machine somewhere on the other side of the world, where the person making the garment doesn't have access to Airtable.And this is where things become difficult. As such, it allows you to link records from one table to record(s) from a different table and keep such relationship on both sides.However, there are interesting use cases in which you’d want to link records from one table to records from the exact same table. For example, you might want to have one unique table for Tasks and handle hierarchy between them (e.g. Parent task, and Sub Task(s)).When creating a linked record field to its own table, you would have seen that only one field was created (the one you did manually). You would call this field Child Tasks for example, and link through it the child tasks to any parent task. However, the inverse relationship (backlink) would not be tracked anyway -meaning which are the parent tasks for each child tasks.
