I work for a small non-profit organization.  In addition to developing a contact table, I’ve uploaded donations into a separate table which contains relevant data for each donation, such as date, amount and purpose.  This donation table references donor specific information such as address.I’d like to find an easy way to create thank you notes in bulk. All the necessary data fields are in the donation table.  From the donation table (or using an interface form) I’d like to choose a specific group of donations for which thank you notes will be prepared. Using a letter template, I’d like to insert name, date, and donation amounts for the selected donations.  Ideally, I’d like the thank you notes to be created in an editable format (perhaps word or a PDF document). Hi everyone,I'm looking for the best approach for the following use case.We have a read-only Shared View that we share with an external agency. They should be able to update only one field (Status Massnahme), which contains multiple predefined single-select status values.We do not want to give them collaborator access or edit permissions to the base.My initial idea was to include a button or link in the Shared View that would trigger an n8n workflow to update the record. However, since there are many possible status values, I'm wondering if there's a better approach.Has anyone implemented a similar workflow?Some questions: Is it possible to let external users update only one field from a Shared View? Would you recommend n8n, Airtable Portals, Fillout, Interfaces, or another solution? If using n8n, how would you pass the record ID and let the user choose from multiple status values? We use Page Designer to generate a short price list (30 to 50 pages). This doc has images and text and, until few months ago (Sept 2025), the file size was less than 2MB.We recently added some procuts and we added some rows to this price list: the file size bloated to 30MB!We follow the same process of printing with “good” (not “best”) image quality before exporting a pdf. We also tried removing the images, printing black and white or rededesegning from scratch the document.I fear something changed in the back-end...If that was the case, it’ìd make page designer useless to us. Anybody else with the same experience? Or ideas on how to fix it? Thank you

Im trying to use airtable record search in Make . . .I have a field called PostID. I want to search it for a number. I Cant find anywhere how a simple airtable syntax works for this  .. is it {PostID}=”123456” or do i put search or someting in front of it? 

There have been a couple of issues reported like this with no answer and are now closed for replies, so I’m making a new one. Airtable is great, love using it, but this very basic interaction of scrolling is quite frustrating. The scroll seems hard-coded to move a fixed number of rows. Currently on a normal 16:9 screen for me, this means what used to be the bottom row is then off-screen up above after I scroll, and that’s with rows that are just 2 lines tall. The simplest fix seems like it would be to decrease the hard-coded number of fixed rows that move with each scroll. Less simple but probably more adaptive would be to adjust the number of rows per scroll based on row height and how many are visible on screen, to ensure that the bottom one becomes the top one.I’ll take even the simple fix!

I am new-ish to Airtable. I am having an issue with creating a formula that give the correct output for contribution points acquired. I have a Total contribution points table, a points log table, And the master table with the contributors. I think I have the pieces in place but the category based formula is giving those with 1 point 100% and those with 2, 50% I am wondering if this is because along with a total count of all the points across all categories do I need to also collect the total points on another table of each individual category count? The current category count, counts only how many points a contributor has in that category. Secondarily, there is a weight to each category sor CAT 1 is 40%, CAT 2 is 40%, CAT 3 is 10%, CAT 4 is 10%. I hope this makes sense.

I have a problem when i try to download media files (videos) from my data sheet on my phone(pixel with GrapheneOS) i can’t i don’t get a popup and i don’t get any information why. I gave all the permissions to the app and it still doesn’t work. When i click share i get a popup with a name of the file and a progress bar that is half full and it never moves. Can someone please help i need to move media files across multiple pixel devices and from multiple people contributing so this would really help but just doesn’t work?

I’m having an issue getting a hold of sales/support. I’m on a team account right now but was planning to possibly upgrade to incorporate Airtable fully into my business but I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone real. I’ve emailed the sales department twice and I get confirmation emails from what I thought was a real person but I’m assuming it’s AI because they never respond once I email back my availability for a call. I’ve also tried the support chat function but it seems like that button does nothing for me.  

I have created a base for cataloguing books/manga. The problem I’m having is with audiobook narrators. When a book is logged, they sometimes have two different narrators. They log the narrators names and the strengths and weaknesses of each narrator. For a specific example, lets say there are two narrators. Narrator 1 is Julia Whelan and Narrator 2 is Will Damron. Narrator 1 strengths (a multi select field)  “Distinct Character Voices” and “Emotional Resonance”. Narrator 2 strengths are “Good Articulation/Pronunciation” and “Good Rhythm and Pacing”. Then the information is supposed to go to a narrator table where it logs this information. Because they narrate multiple books, these strengths can be added to with other books. The issue is that as far as I can figure, a lookup field won’t work because they need to apply to only the correct narrator. A rollup has the same issue. I can do it via automation but that gets really messy and complicated because it will create extra little bubble

We need comments to remain. Is there a way of either turning off ‘resolve’ comments capability, or, displaying resolved comments? 

Hi all,Currently thinking of getting an Enterprise Scale licensing for the organization and interested in using the Enterprise SSO to integrate with our Entra ID tenants.I have read the documentation, and the configuration looks straight forward but have a question when it comes to multiple Entra ID tenants.With one Airtable organization (If this is the right term to use), can I have 2 Entra ID tenants connect to it with SSO? (Example: I want OrganizationA Entra ID tenant and OrganizationB Entra ID tenant be able to log into the same Airtable organization. Or do I need to use Enterprise Hub in Airtable overview ?Thank you for your assistance and help.

Interested to know if there are any other UK members outside London that are left feeling a bit disconnected and unsupported.Airtable as a company seem to assume that everyone in the UK is OK to have everything airtable related in London - but to be honest, as much as I love Airtable, I’m just not in a position to spend a couple of hundred quid and take a couple of days out trek down to the old smoke for the events that are put on.I get that they have to deal with the majority first - but is Airtable really focused in London and nowhere else in the UK because I seem to be able to find clients using Airtable all over the country

So far, I haven’t had any trouble entering text and currency into Airtable bases, but I’d like to calculate simple overall percentages from my data. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t figure out how to do it in Airtable.I know how to do it at the row level, but I don’t know how to calculate it for the total data. For example, I have values in Column 1 and Column 2, and I need to sum all the data from Column 1 and all the data from Column 2, then divide them to get the overall percentage. Im trying to do this in the interface view too, but its imposible.I’m starting to think that it’s not possible to calculate simple total percentages in Airtable. Or am I missing something?Thanks very much in advance for any help with this.

I’m having an issue with a formula that rounds up incorrectly, i’ve browsed the forums and can’t seem to find a solution.I have a simple math equation x * y = zI suspect that the issues is stemming from a formula that contains four decimal points:I’m not able to round up this number, however, it needs to remain as is.  I’m not sure how to get a correct calculation using airtable. 

Hi, Wondered if anyone could help with this…I have the following fieldsTitle, Sub Title, Series Title and Series OrderThen I have a full title field where I want to bring those together depending on which of those is filled in. So, if there’s a Sub Title, I want the Full title to show {Title}: {Sub Title}. If there is a series title then I want it to show {Title}: {Series Title} {Series Order} (as an aside, if I could get the series order in brackets that would be amazing, but I suspect impossible because brackets are part of the formula). And if neither Sub Title nor Series Title have an entry then I just want the {Title}. I don’t think there’ll ever be a case where we have a series title and a sub title so I’m not worried about that for now. At the moment I have:IF(  {Series Title}, {Title} & ": " & {Series Title} & " " & {Series Order},     IF(      {Sub Title}, {Title} & ": " & {Sub Title},      IF({Series Title} = BLANK(), AND({Sub Title} = BLANK(), {Title}

Hi - I have two fields, both text:Form Title (same for every record) Form URL (long-#$@$, customized URLs for prefilled forms; different for every record)Is there a way to make the title of the form clickable with the URL - possibly by creating a third formula field? Chat GPT tells me to do: HYPERLINK({Form URL}, {Form Title}). Alas, HYPERLINK doesn’t seem to be an actual function. Does anyone know? Thank  you!​​​​

I have setup an automation so when someone emails a purchase request, it makes a record and notifies me in Airtable, however it doesn’t look like there is away to email an attachment and have it populate the attachment field. Is this possible?

Hello,I am currently setting up an automation to send an email when a form is submitted. I had also created an extension page that is a confirmation sheet of sorts for clients that auto-fills information based on what information is submitted via the form in question. I was wondering if it is possible to attach this extension to an email automation. Or even automate this sheet to send on it’s own without an attached email message.Thanks!

Hi everyone,My workspace is on the Business plan and the latest invoice was successfully paid after a prior failed payment.The workspace billing page shows:Plan: Business Invoice status: Paid Invoice amount: $54 Subscription status: Active Automation run limit: 100,000 per invoice periodHowever, the Usage page still shows 100,000 / 100,000 automation runs, and automations remain blocked.It looks like the billing entitlement was refreshed, but the automation usage/block state may still be stuck after the failed payment.Has anyone experienced this before?Does Airtable automatically refresh this after some time, or does Support need to manually reset/remove the automation block?I already contacted Airtable Support, but I’m asking here to see if anyone has seen the same issue and how it was resolved.Thanks.

They’d like to automatically extract action items from emails. Gmail integration — pulling the email body directly into a record and using AI to parse out action items » Seems like extra work for the client to copy and paste email body. PDF attachment — client saves the email as a PDF, attaches it to the opportunity record, and Airtable parses the action items from there. » Can airtable do this? How well does it work?Has anyone done either of these? What actually works well in practice? Open to native Airtable features, automations, or third-party tools. Thanks in advance!
