I’m trying to understand the steps for filtering views by using URL parameters, including how to call the field in the url given it’s not in English and contains spaces.I couldn’t figure it out from official documentation.Any leads will be much appreciated

Hi,I’m a newbie and was wondering what affects the fields listed in the field selection of interface Levels. I currently have only 1 field I can choose from, where the table actually contains a number of fields. What do I need to do to be able to choose a different field?

I am trying to set up an email automation that sends an email the next day at 9am after a status change. I have created a formula field: IF(  {Status Changed},  SET_TIMEZONE(    DATEADD(      DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({Status Changed}, 'YYYY-MM-DD') & "T09:00:00"),      1,      'days'    ),    'Europe/London'  ))The automation is triggered using a status condition and when the formula field is ‘today’. and This creates the correct time and date in the formula field, but it is not triggering the automation.  

Hi everyone,Is there a way to ‘refresh’  all AI fields with a button linked to an automation?  Automations can do a “Generate text with AI” action, but this requires me to keep all the prompts inside the automation vs individual AI fields -  as i’d like the option to rerun separately at times.  Thanks!

They’ve asked that I try build a tool for the kitchen that can then be shared across the group.Being new, I only got so far and I’m feeling a bit lost and confused about layout, how some things drag information from where and why some things are where they are. The AI tool has got me so far and it’s been good. We’ve created an airtable base for submissions from teams, and then those need to be reviewed by assigned reviewers.  In the form, the review must select their own name. In another field, they need to select the project they are reviewing. I would like to filter the projects that are options to be just the ones the review is assigned to.  Is there a formula to say the “Assigned Review” field matches the name selected in the review name field?  As a work around, I was going to use filter by View -- but I’m also not seeing that option anymore. Was that moved? 

Hi chat, My coworkers are running into issues with the filters for their interface. They are finding that they're interface filters are resetting frequently throughout the day. Filtering is critical for our workflow and often when they're viewing their pages, it will remove their last filter. Has anyone experienced anything similar?Specific issues:Filters clear without user action. In other cases, filters revert to an old or unexpected state. For example: Our team commonly filters on the Assignee field. Most of the day, users apply Assignee = Themselves (10+ times per day). Occasionally, they apply Assignee = A Coworker (1–2 times per day). Hey everyoneThere use to be a feature for Groups in forms that seems to be missing now for new fields.When creating a form, you can create a group and add fields to that group.When you selected the Group, there was a permissions option for that Group where you can choose the fields to be editable or view-only.It appears that option is no longer available.This was incredibly useful for me. I was able to prefill fields in that group and it would prevent the end user from removing my prefilled option. This was really great when I didn't want to expose information in those fields to end user. I could prefill it and they could not edit it. But it was at least displayed there for them so they know what they were filling things out for. If this feature is gone, is there another way to prevent end users from changing prefilled fields in formsTIA!

Hello everyone, I’m using an agent to analyze images stored in an attachment field in Airtable. However, in some cases the agent returns the following error message:unsupported file types in attachment field AirtableThe point is that the attached files are common image formats (such as JPG or PNG), yet the error still occurs. I would like to understand:  Are there any limitations regarding file types or metadata in the attachment field that could be causing this error? Hi everyone,I’ve set up an automation in Airtable that is supposed to trigger once a day at a fixed time. The automation is configured to send an email via Gmail.Here’s the setup: Trigger: At a scheduled time Interval: Every 1 day Time: 1:30 PM (local timezone +07) Start date: Jan 9, 2025 (Screenshot 1 shows the trigger configuration).The problem:Instead of firing once, the automation is running three times: Once at the correct scheduled time (1:30 PM) Once again almost immediately after (same minute) And another run about 2 hours earlier than scheduled Screenshot 2 shows the run history: 13:32 → executed once (2 hours early) 15:52 → executed twice in the same minute Screenshot 3 shows the action setup: It searches in the table 11. Hi.We are using Airtable to display data about our system landscape. We want to share this data with our organization, and have therefore crated links and added these to our internal CMS system.If the link is shared to somebody outside our organization, the information should not be available. We tired to handle this with the “Access restricted to our email domain”, but found out that it requires that the use is an airtable user. If we don’t make any restrictions that link can be accessed by anyone how has it.In the perfect solution, we would like that only our Active directory users have access to the shared link. Is there any way to solve this?Thanks in advance.  

I am a big Airtable fan, I am very careful, but every now and then I create empty records by clicking on sections, etc. Now, I always figure it out and clean up but can only notice beginners do that almost systematically. I am sure certain there are UI enhancements the Airtable team could implement to make people aware they are actually adding entries in a table.

Hi there,  I’ve created a pie chart in my dashboard interface, and I selected a field to group records by (Gross Margin %). It seems to work well, but it sometimes displays multiples of the same value as separate slices (see multiple 14% and 40% in the legend below). Is this a bug, or am I missing something in the chart setup? I’m really confused why the same value wouldn’t group together automatically.  This is what my setup looks like: If anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears! Thanks so much :)

Hi AirTable Community, I have a commercial dry cleaning and laundry business. I’m trying to create an Airtable app that will let my clients share an itemised list of the garments they’re sending me for cleaning each day. I’d like to create an interface with a form at the top, that lets the client enter each item for cleaning with relevant detail, then a table directly below which lists each item, so they can see a summary of the data they’re inputting in real time. I’m confident about designing each element, but can’t figure out if/how I can put them on the same interface. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks! 

I need to generate an image link that ends in .jpg or .png for the purpose of registering the product to GS1 (to assign a barcode). Is there a way to change the URL of my product image in Airtable so that it ends in .jpg?

Hi all,I’m trying to set up a self-linking “Related Records” field in Airtable (Team license) so that when I link one record to another, the linked record automatically shows the same relationship in return, within a single field.Right now I have: A Related Records linked-record field (self-linking within the same table) Airtable’s automatic “From field: Related Records” mirror field, which shows the reciprocal links Functionally this works, but the relationships appear split across two fields.My goal is to have all related records appear together in one field, even if that means creating a new combined field.I’ve tried to figure out if a formula or automation could merge the two linked-record lists into a single multi-value linked field, but haven’t found a way that works.Has anyone successfully combined self-links and their reciprocal “from field” values into one linked-record field?If so, could you share how you set it up (automation, script, or other workaround)?Thanks!
