J’ai une table formulaire avec un lien vers une table contactJ’ai plusieurs questions :Peut on faire un formulaire avec le lookup de la table contact qui concatenate le nom et prénom  Sinon peut on reprendre les fenêtres nom et prénom et téléphone ? Hi, we need to set up an attendance tracker (I know how to do the student and class dataset) for teachers to track students attendance in three activities each afternoon (same teacher tracks all three, and there are 6 teachers / classrooms). I know how I could do this in the form but are limited to each student with the three activities. I want to give the teachers a form to fill it that looks like a excel table, with all the students names on the left, and the three activities on the right for them to mark as present, absent, or partial. We do not want to use a portal as those are expensive. Will I need to use another application on top of this to do it? If so, which one if we want one place that the teachers go to for a drop down list of their classrooms, and then to fill out the matrix. In addition, how would you set up the attendance data table in airtable. Thanks!

Hi Team,I am currently using the Teams plan, and I noticed that the automation limit is capped at 50 total automations (including both enabled and disabled automations).Our use case requires additional automations beyond this limit, so I would like to know if there is any option to increase the automation quota. Is there an upgrade path, add-on, or alternative plan that supports a higher number of automations?I would appreciate any guidance on the available options.Looking forward to your response.Thank you.

I was using an AirTable interface form on my mobile phone (Android) today. Typed up a bunch of notes and then hit “Save.”   - - - Well, I thought I hit save but it appears AirTable interpreted my finger swipe as a “Back” command. So the form just went back, though, to me it appeared to have saved properly. (obviously these notes were important to me)Needed to add more information to my important notes and behold…. data loss. It’s gone! Is there any work by AirTable to prevent data loss while using AirTable Interfaces? I know AI is a hot-new-database-add-on but you know what AI can’t do? MAGIC BACK THE DATA LOSS!There was no confirmation, no save while working, no method of getting back to the data, it was just gone!That is a profound violation of user trust, this ain’t Windows Notepad in 1995… oh, wait, even Windows Notepad in 1995 threw a prompt saying, “Would you like to save this?” before erasing everything you had typed up.Interfaces are a great addition to AirTable but ya gotta ge

I've created a calendar table synced to GCAL and wish to populate a calendar view with the events based on the Event Start and when Event Start is not available based on Event Created. I've struggled to achieve this (I welcome any other possible solutions) so I attempted to create a formula field with the following formula: “IF({Event Start}, {Event Start}, {Event Created})”.  As generated by the ai agent. Somehow that formula changes both Event Start and Event Created data. I've also tried the following formula: DATETIME_PARSE(IF({Event Start} = BLANK(), {Event Created}, {Event Start}))To the same effect. Screenshot attached to quell my possibly insufficient description. Questions.Why is the data changing when the formula is only requesting to display the data? Are my assumptions about the formula only asking to display data correct? Is my formula broken/insufficient? if so, what's the fix? After two years in the AI wilderness, finally the technology is allowing me to do business again with real opportunities to help other entrepreneurs and earn money doing it.  I have learned a lot these past two years, building an app concept in the mental health care space, and now AI audit tools for small businesses.  This past week, I struggled with two AI assistants trying to set up my lead generation database from one of the tools that were ready for launch. Hi there, I’ve set-up a Airtable to Google Calendar sync. The event (record from Airtable) on Google shows the start date/time and end date/time. However I’d like to add the address to the Google event from my Airtable data. Is there an option to bring this data from Airtable to the Google Calendar event please? Any support would be great! This seems to be a grossly missing option for sorts.  I should be able to check a box to decide if I want blank fields to show at the top or bottom of a sorted column.  I know there is a workaround, but I shouldn’t have to create a workaround for a painfully missing feature.  How do I submit this as a feature request and get everyone to upvote it?

Hi all. I have an automation that creates a doc in Google Docs as one of its steps. It’s triggered by a button press in an interface. We run it 20-30 times a day. 90% of the time, no problem. However, 5-10% of the time it randomly fails to create the doc with a very nonspecific error: When we re-run it with the same data and so on, it runs successfully.The workaround is simply pressing the button again, which is fine, but I’d still like to know what is going wrong. Is there any way to see more information on this error? Or, has anyone else encountered a similar issue?-Natalka

Looking to hire a consultant that provide an audit and clean up of our data and workflow in Airtable.  Seems that several workflows are starting to break.  

I’m invoicing time records by project, by month. Each time record has a “Time Task” which comes from a linked lookup table. There’s some 42 time tasks and more may be added in the future. When creating a monthly invoice I want to summarize the hours for each task utilized by that monthly collection of time records for each project invoiced.e.g.5/1/2026 2.0 hours Preparation5/19/2026 1.3 hours Preparation5/21/2026 1.0 hours Preparation*Total Preparation 4.3 hours 5/8/2026 1.5 hours Development5/8/2026 5.8 hours Development*Total Development 7.3 hours I only want to show the * totals, not the actual individual time records.Ideally these totals would simply go into a separate table linked to the invoice.I really don’t want to use a third party tool like Make or Zapier. How can I go about doing that?

Why when I get just only 1 item in a search node with airtable and 1 item in update record the API calls is not only 2?

Hi all - I’m fairly new to Airtable and hitting a roadblock… I have a form where people submit a list of activities they’ve participated in over a period of time. To avoid burdening the user with repeat submissions, I’ve set up my form/table with Activity 1, Activity 2, Activity 3, Activity 4, etc for all the different fields. However, I’d like to create a clean view where the data in all of those fields wraps up into one list of activities, as different records (i.e., if John Doe submits details for Activity 1, Activity 2, and Activity 3 all in one record, how can I get a list where John Doe has 3 records, one for each activity?).I’m struggling with how to make this happen. I tried nesting the records but it only works for 3 and I have 10 activity fields in my form. Does anyone have experience writing a script for an automation for something like this? I’ve never written a script and have no idea where to even start, so any guidance would be helpful!

Hi everyone,I’ve been managing our entire product catalog in Excel, but it’s getting short. I really need to have a better workflow, and I’m trying to figure out if Airtable is the right solution for my company or if I will hit a wall soon.I interact a lot with the products, change prices frequently, and need a highly visual and optimized system. Here is my specific scenario:The Data & Workflow:We manage around 3,000 to 4,000 products.I have a Master Products Table with historical data: UPC, Name, Brand, and Image Every single day, I receive 5 separate Excel files with updated prices and current availability. Each file belongs to a different customer tier (VIP, Wholesale, Distributor, etc.). If an item is not in the daily Excel, it means it's out of stock for the day.My ultimate goal is to use Airtable Interfaces (Gallery View) to show the active products with their respective prices, export them to PDF, and send them to clients.Based on your experience, is Airtable truly the right

Washington County was established in 1777 and the county seat, Jonesborough, was established in 1779; the oldest county and town in Tennessee.  We have over a 1,000 family folders and over 400 local history folders along with books, microfilm, maps, etc. in the library genealogy collection.  We are building a searchable database on these family folders and local history folders. In this data base, we also set up through ‘extensions’ a search engine.We want to share this database with family researchers.  But we would like to share with them a “read only” database that is searchable.  This is our problem.  How can we set up a “read only” database that researchers could use?  We do not want to put this database on the internet.  Is there a way that we can set up a searchable database that is only ‘read only?’ 

Thought this might be a good regular conversation piece - what is on your mind (when it comes to Airtable)?I’ll kick us off:I’m about to undertake a revamp of how we organise our workspaces/bases. Until now, everything was in one workspace (except for sandboxes and templates). But because we want to keep workspace creator permissions low (literally me, IT and C suite) so that people cannot snoop in and out of any base, creating new bases is down to me. There is no separation of creating bases from access to all bases… AFAIK anyway.So, I’m now looking at splitting out into departmental workspaces to free up permissions. Plus, our SSO/SKIM provisioning can then automate a lot of things for onboarding/offboarding. 

Dear Airtable Community, for a Project Gantt Plan I have differnt swimlanes that are grouped by Workstream Tags. The gantt view used to show the Tags in a column on the very left side of the table (directly next to the column of the different views). Now this column with the Grouped Workstreams disappeared and there is no option to show it again only when I change the Layout from Gantt to stacked. Please help

Interested to know if there are any other UK members outside London that are left feeling a bit disconnected and unsupported.Airtable as a company seem to assume that everyone in the UK is OK to have everything airtable related in London - but to be honest, as much as I love Airtable, I’m just not in a position to spend a couple of hundred quid and take a couple of days out trek down to the old smoke for the events that are put on.I get that they have to deal with the majority first - but is Airtable really focused in London and nowhere else in the UK because I seem to be able to find clients using Airtable all over the country
