I’m perplexed as to why buttons created in the data view cannot yet work in Interface view.  How has this not been worked out?

Hi,I am the owner of a workspace and I created a base that I would like to generate PAT but when I go to the developer Hub, I can’t find the workspace or the base in the add base field.  😭I must be missing some permission somewhere and I just couldn’t figure it out.  Help please! Thanks,Cynthia

Hi everyone 👋 I’m using Airtable on the Team Plan, and I manage several bases within the same workspace.Each base is shared with different people (some as Editor, Commenter, or Read-only).I want to make sure that none of these collaborators especially Editors, Commenters, or Read-only users can duplicate, copy, or move my bases into their personal workspaces. What should I do?  Thanks for your help.

Hi team!I have to create an app to analyze interviews, extract discussed topics and suggest social media posts, based on the topics. Similar to the one Alex McDonnel showed here.It should have three datasets: Interviews, Topics and Posts. Omni created the app and filled it with some examples. Everything looks great, but when I add the new interview no topics or posts are created.Could you tell me how to fix it? 

I have an automation that 1st Finds Records from a table then Inserts the Found Grid into an Email. I have static Emails and also want to Use Emails from the Found Records.  If all the Found Records Emails match is there a way to just add 1 instead of it putting in multiple identical Emails in the To:I imagine maybe a script but do not know how to write those. Bull

I am just starting with Airtable and have created a tables of Jobs, Crew, and Crew Assignments. I am trying to show where we have assigned the same crew member to multiple jobs where the dates overlap. Hi,I’m building a weekly service planner in the new Airtable Interface (Calendar element).My setup uses:  Pradžios laikas (Start date/time) – editable date field Pabaigos laikas (skaičiuojamas) (End date/time) – a computed formula field  The interface does not allow dragging or even showing the computed end date properly.Also, I cannot find any option to limit visible working hours (e.g. 08:00–18:00) — the calendar always displays 24h. My goal:  Display a weekly calendar (for 5–6 working days) Show jobs only between 08:00–18:00 Allow visualization using a computed end date  Is there any current workaround or plan to bring back these settings to the new Interface Designer? Screenshots attached (showing the “computed field” restriction message and 24h timeline).Thanks in advance for your help!If this behavior is expected in the new Interface Designer, could you please confirm whether support for computed End Date fields and configurable working-hour ranges (e.g. 08:00–18:00) is pla

Hello All,Please my Airtable <> Docpotion integration was successful, script runs fine, generates pdf invoice in attachment field when, but unfortunately I cannot view the invoice generated and when I download the file, it also does not render in pdf format. Had series of calls with the founder/support of Docupotion, all looks good from their end. Please I need all the help I can get with getting this issue resolved or any other means to achieving same outcomes This is a major blocker to a major project completion.I have attached screenshot for easy of issue Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

Is it possible to change the sent from email, from the default of automations@airtableemail.com to something of our choice? Or by a per project basis?

Is there a way to prevent people from making edits, or self-upgrading their account from a Viewer to an Editor? I am on Enterprise Scale and constantly have to check to make sure people arent self-upgrading to Editor and thus taking away seats, or using seats we do not have available.One solution I found was to make everyone only an editor, but then they cant configure or modify the base which means I, or my team, would have to configure their base for them which we cannot support. Has anyone here found a solution for this? Seems kind of silly that there isnt a setting within the Admin panel to prevent this from happening.

Hi everyone —I’ve built an automation that:1️⃣ Triggers when a Project Overview record enters a view2️⃣ Creates a related record in Prelims Summary (Client Breakdown)3️⃣ Updates the original Project Overview record to link back to that new recordEverything works — the link is created — but in the run log, the Linked Prelims (NEW) field shows two entries: ["rechvSfKKM3dFqypl"] ✅ (green — works) "rechvSfKKM3dFqypl" ❌ (red — literal string) I’m currently setting the linked record field value in the Update Record step as: ["Airtable record ID"] (using the dynamic variable from the Create Record step with the “+” button).Is this expected, or should only the array appear?Could something in the input mapping or type conversion be causing the duplicate string entry?Any insight from others who’ve built dynamic link automations like this would be great — thanks!

Hi all,I have 2 connected fillout quizzes.The first is set to create a record, which is working fine.In the end screen, I have a URL button linking to the next quiz.The second quiz is set to update a record, but in the results, it creates a new record.I add an ID in the URL parameter for both quizzes.Where do I go wrong, or what am I missing in the process?

We have an interface where previously (before UI change) we were able to apply a filter to limit the data that was shown but now when you try to add a condition it just shows the hover “Cannot filter on fields” 

Hi! I’ve tried a few different ways of doing this and can’t seem to figure it out. I’m importing some data into a new base and there’s a field that has update notes on different lines all formatted the same. I’d love to figure out an automation to add each line to a linked table as separate updates connected to the parent field. The goal: automatically generate “Article Passes” – structured text outputs with all packaging-relevant details (composition, analytical values, additives, storage info, etc.) in multiple languages.My structure: Products → general info Product Versions → recipe & design versioning Packaging Units → GTIN, article number, recycling info Analytical Constituents / Additives → linked via junction tables Multilingual Content → texts for a number of languages At the moment, I use Rollup fields filtered by language (e.g. Language = DE/EN/IT) and combine them into a big formula for multilingual output like:🇩🇪 GermanShort descriptionComposition:Additives…etc.🇬🇧 EnglishShort descriptionComposition: …etc.It works, but it’s quite static.Any advice on:smarter or more dynamic multilingual output – the formula solution is not very handy only displaying languages with existing content    best export

When, how, and what is not clear at all to me yet, so I wanted to open up the discussion early on to make sure this is really community led.Brainstorming:Format: Virtual (for sure). Synchronous (everyone builds during a given time frame) or asynchronous (projects submitted over a few weeks). Themes: Specific theme (e.g. procurement, marketing ops, nonprofits, etc.), or leave it totally open to “build whatever you enjoy”? Why I think this could be fun: A chance to show off creativity. A way to learn from each other’s builds. An opportunity to meet new peers. A reason to push Airtable to its limits in unusual or inspiring ways (different to the day-to-day work we do for our clients or within our organizations).  Would love to get some input from the usual suspects here, and from any other Airtable enthusiast!​@Scott

Hi I'm working with Airtable Forms and using a single-select field for a Sample ID (which is a number). I'd like users to be able to add a new Sample ID directly from the form if it doesn't already exist, instead of being limited to the existing options.Is there any way to enable this "Add new option" behavior for single-select fields in Airtable Forms? Or would I need a workaround—like using a linked record or setting up an automation—to allow new Sample IDs to be created automatically?Appreciate any guidance

I am doing a hiring and searching for jobs database. I have made the form for everyone involved but would like for them to be able to change their availability status after having submitted the form. Is that possible? I haven‘t upgraded my subscription, I am still using the free version. I am new in airtable, still trying to figure it out if it is the answer for what I am looking for before I start paying.
