I’m working on an interface that is all connected to Property Projects through the Record Picker. I’m trying to create elements that pull data from the subject property through the Record Picker. For example, I’m creating a Comps element. However, I need the comps to pull only from the Property selected in the Record Picker. It’s prompting me to create a condition, however, I don’t have the Record Picker as an option. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance! 

Hi all, I am trying to create an automation such that when a person creates a new record in the projects table, a view is automatically created in the tasks table such that any records with that record are filtered to be the only records shown. I figured that this could be done with scripting, but I’m not sure how to create a view in the tasks table with a specific filter applied.

Hi everyone!I entrusted Airtable as part of my career (business plan) and now, I’ve encountered a significant issue at my workplace.My customers are salesmen and they utilize quick ‘CTRL+F’ buttons to find our products on our Airtable. If they don’t, they go to another vendor and we lose that sale.1,000 record view  limit banner with button on right I understand they can press ‘Load all records’, but unfortunately not all of my customers are fluent with computers and/or want to deal with pressing ‘Load all records’ all the time, so we’d just lose the sale entirely.I notice this pops up ONLY when I am logged in. HOWEVER, when not logged in and/or viewing via a link... the banner is not there and all inventory shows as normal. Unfortunately, as a good Airtable patron that I am, I made our customers sign up and now they can’t see the inventory we sell. CTRL+F limit I’ve consulted Google Gemini to no avail, and I’d like to say we’re losing a significant proportion of our sales.

Hello everyone,I’m a beginner in Airtable.I created liked to another records in my database but it doesn’t goes out automatically. A helper said that I have to enter the link manually by clicking in the box and selecting the correct link to establish. He corrected the field books to show me an exemple. But I don’t see what’s wrong. Hello AllI am attempting to load a PPT attachment with multiple section and have those sections regenerated using an AI Field Agent Analyze Attachment. I want it to lookup the information in a specific section of PPT and duplicate it including formatting. It is duplicating the information but failing on the formatting. Below is my custom instruction. You are a document analyst specializing in extracting specific sections from documents. I would like to understand whether these are on the product roadmap and, if not, whether practical workarounds exist. unfortunately there is no way for 3rd party clients to update an existing record ussing forms. it creates a new one upon submission. it would be great if users can click on a link which opens up a partially filled in form > they fill it in even further and hit ‘ update’. updates existing record rather than creating another.

Hello everyone,I’m a junior data analyst and recently I was asked at work to integrate new data that is external to our management system. This data consists of Excel spreadsheets stored in Airtable. While researching, I noticed that there are several ways to integrate this data.For example, one could use “bridge” solutions like OneDrive or SharePoint, or connect directly to Airtable via its API.I was able to connect directly using the API (after creating a Personal Access Token), performing a blank query and using an M script to retrieve over 20,000 records. However, I would like to hear from more experienced people whether this could be the best approach compared to using a bridge solution. I personally think it is, but I would appreciate the opinion of experts.I have tested this with free accounts and demo Excel files with over 20,000 records, and I can retrieve them both directly via API and using OneDrive or SharePoint.Additionally, I understand that the client has a paid Airtable

Is there any word on a feature to allow users to change the day of the week that you use for the first day of the week? I know a lot of US calendars will use Sunday for some reason, but I don’t actually know any businesses that run on a Sunday start. I’ve always used a Monday start to the week. And I’m pretty sure most of the rest of the world uses Monday to start the week.I noticed people have been asking this for almost 8 years according to the help center. And it seems like the easiest change.People were trying to suggest that we change our browser settings to some part of the world that does Monday start, and others were reporting that that doesn’t actually change the user experience. And making that change messes up every other application I use, so it doesn’t make sense. Just about all my productivity applications let you set this as a personal preference, and I’m kind of stunned this is still out there.How can this be escalated, or is there a way to see if it’s on the roadmap?

I had Omni build a Form for users to collect new record information. It has two levels: Claims and Claim Details. I wanted it to allow a user to create a new “Claim” and the continue to add each new “Claim detail record” from this same form. It works in the regular interface, but as a form it only allows the user to select from existing “Claim Details.” Is there a setting for that field that I need to change in order to adds new detail records?

I'm working on a project where we use:- Postgres for our production app database - Airtable for our internal team (support, ops) The challenge: keeping them in sync without writing fragile scripts.Curious what others in this situation are doing:1. Are you using Zapier? (I find it too slow)2. Custom scripts with webhooks? (maintenance nightmare for us)3. Some other tool I haven't discovered?4. I’m loving interface extensions so far! It’s super easy to get up and running. I have an external website that uses the Airtable API that I think would work much smoother if it were an interface extension and inside AT proper. The only problem is… it’s in Vue, and it’s way too complicated a project to rewrite from scratch in React.Assuming the interface extensions team isn’t planning on making a Vue SDK as well (...unless? 😳), has anyone tried inserting a Vue component into React, specifically inside the Airtable Blocks SDK, where no Vite config file is available?

I’m trying to extract information from within our confluence setup, using field agents to locate specific piece of information from a specified page (via URL). I got it to work once, but now it just says it cannot access the page, as if it has no authentication (which is probably true). Is there a way to provide it with authentication to go do what it needs to do? Curious how I got it to work the first time too

I have a table holding some addresses across several fields (street,city, district etc). I would like an easy way to find possible duplicates in this table, given that the addresses entered are never exactly the same. So, “123 East Wilton Blvd, Westsea, Long Beach, Calif’ and ‘Beach Towers, 123 East Wilton Boulevard, Long Beach, Calif’ would suggest a match.I was wondering whether I could use an AI function to do this? Ideally when a new record is entered, the user would be prompted with the question - ‘This looks similar’Anyone done anything like this? I don’t have the luxury of a postcode lookup as the addresses are worldwide.

In my life outside all things Airtable I have a large collection of curated resources on Product Operations. podcasts, articles, resources I have created, along with my partner in crime on this venture. We want to create a custom GPT based on all this content that we can make available to our followers, peers and professionals. Does anyone have experience of being able to do this with Airtable? I think I can get the information into airtable using field agents to scan docs and pages, transcripts etc.  I would guess Omni would then take over and it would be used as the searcher and retrieves of summarized information. Thoughts?

I am trying to figure out what is the best way to track tasks that have multiple layers and steps in Airtable. Let’s use an example here to explain: There is a task at my company where we track the payment for assets we purchased from a third party source which...Step 1 - requires sending an LOD (Letter of Direction) and making sure the LOD is acceptedStep 2 - tracking the payment is made to my companyStep 3, if applicable - tracking the pass through of a payment that was made to the prior payee rather than our company (which happens when the LOD is not accepted in time before the next payment cycle) So I would name each task (1) LOD, (2) Payment, and (Pass Through). Each task would have the following statuses to track:(1) LOD - Need to Send; Sent and Awaiting Confirmation; Revising LOD; LOD Accepted.(2) Payment - Waiting for Payment; Missed Payment; Paid.(3) Pass Through - Need to Request Pass Through, Requested, Paid. I don’t want to create a Single Select option for Tasks and Status

Once a project is created. How do I link phase/ category that is linked to another project but not have task also link to new project
