Hello,I am using an Airtable form embedded on my website via an iframe. In the form settings, I enabled the option “Enter a URL to redirect to after the form is submitted” and added the URL of my thank-you landing page.However, after submitting the form, the page redirects back to the form instead of redirecting to the landing page I specified.The form is embedded on my website using an iframe, and I suspect that this might be affecting the redirect behavior.Could you please help me understand why the redirect is not working and how I can fix it?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,

Hi, I’m trying to create a pivot table in Interfaces > Dashboards. I need two nested rows (Vertical and Region) to cross-reference values against one column (Quarter) for the table to be useful.However, I just don’t see the Add Row option in the configuration panel on the right. Multiple sources tell me this should be possible, but I’m not seeing how. Can anyone help?Not able to nest another field. 

Hello,i want to know if is possible to copy automatically fields from a table New Books to anther table Books.They will have the same fields. The table Books contents all the existing books on a library and the table New books, all newly purchased books.  A form in softr will be filled with new books and it will be showed in table Books.   

Hello,I am new to junction tables and have pretty much zero scripting experience, so bear with me.I am trying to create a breakdown of call sheets for group shoots and create individual “shifts” in a junction table. The goal is to be able to adjust start and end times for those linked in the shoots and to be able to create a more comprehensive reporting interface to track hours and OT by multiple criteria.I cannot show the actual base, but have created a basic example of the structure and result of Airtable’s junction table extension.Client tab:Franchise: Franchises have assigned POCs for internal notifications. Hi Airtable Community,I’m using Airtable in a business setting to track tasks and progress updates, with users updating records through a status dropdown field.I’m interested in building in more assurance so the system can help identify clerical errors when a user misses something. I’m also looking to understand whether Airtable can support a control that prevents a status from being updated unless evidence of task completion has first been provided, such as an attachment or other form of verification.For example, if a user attempts to change a task to complete without uploading the required verification, I would like the system to either block the change or trigger an alert for follow-up.Has anyone implemented something similar, or can point me in the right direction for how this could be achieved within Airtable?ThanksHaydyn N

I’ve been banging my head against a wall trying to get this to work and at this point I’ve come to the conclusion this might not be possible. I’m hoping that there is a wizard out there that may be able to help with this issue.  So context:My base contains 3 tables. An inventory, a customer table, and an orders table. There are linked fields in both my Inventory and my Orders table that link to the customers table. Within my Inventory table there is also a linked field that links to the inventory. What I want to do is whenever I add a piece of inventory to a record in the Order table, that it adds the customers name to the item within the Inventory table.  I’ve tried getting Omni to help me set it up, I’ve tried getting the support chatbot to help, and I’ve even tried Claude to help me with no results. If someone could share the correct setup I’d be eternally grateful. If I’m knocking on a door that doesn’t exist then that works too and I know I’m expecting too much. Thanks in advance!

Hello team, Is there a way to set up an automated outlook email(event) to be sent from a shared inbox and not my personal inbox in airtable?

my organization does trainings and after each training, we send participants a post-survey to fill out. each training covers slightly different topics, so the questions we want feedback on change slightly with each training as well. right now, i have one table called post-surveys where each field corresponds to the questions we ask, and the field names are shortened versions of the questions. then we build the form for each post-survey based on which questions we’d like to include. the downside is that it means that table has a huge number of fields and it’s hard to see if the question you want to include already exists as a field or you need to create a new one. (e.g. “S3 FSOW: Challenges” means in session 3, we had a question about challenges that related to the reasons we did the session, you can see how that makes it hard to keep track of the actual question)i’d like to have a table that’s a list of the questions & what type of question they are, a related field for the trainin

I currently have a sign-up form that collects both a name and email address. When the person signs up, I have an automation set up to send a confirmation email. I have a bizarre situation where one person somehow keeps submitting their name and email address in what I assume is unicode bold, sometimes courier, and sometimes in a type of cursive. Whenever this happens, the confirmation email fails. The person who signs up on this form is older, and has no idea what she’s doing. I am hoping to be able to somehow convert all the unicode fonts into something that is readable so it can send emails.Some more context, the font also doesn’t get picked up if I do a Ctrl+F on the back end of the form. It’s as if the text isn’t there. If I copy and paste the text somewhere else online, it keeps the formatting, which makes me think it’s some kind of unicode that is still readable, but obviously not in this email situation. Can I fix this on the back end of AirTable so anytime she puts her “fonts”

I want to give to some users ( managers … )  the ability to invite new users ( projet team … ) from a creation form in the interface, I tried to do it but I should add the new ones from the base first then select him in the dropdown list showed in the creation form. How can I centralize the invitation just from the interface no need to go the base and add him from there ( it’s so hard to do this when we have a lot of inviations to handle ) 

Hi, I am trying to create a pipeline that a few users can manage a “global view” and then when updates are made to automations or tables from there all the workspaces sync, but the workspaces can be broken into regions and maintained separately by diff teams. Are we able to do something like this? Thanks! 

I’m reopening this topic, I’ve seen there was an old one and this issue seems to keep being not solved after 5 years, which is kinda ridiculous.Out of the blue, without any reasonable explanation, the record IDs of one of my main tables have changed.We use the Record IDs as the primary key to run reporting outside of Airtable. It fully broke our scheduling system. From the 31st of March to today, all the IDs of my records have changed.This happens in a synced table, which might be the reason, although not logic at all. No record has been deleted an re-created.How come this happens? A unique ID must be immutable, what’s the point of having IDs that change in time?

Our data includes Programs (15+), Students, Enrollments, Mentors, Alumni, Marketing, Scholarships, Startups, and Events.Our Goal: We want to move away from siloed spreadsheets into a centralized Airtable ecosystem where we can track a participant’s journey from Student to Alumnus to Mentor or Founder.My Questions: Single Base vs. Multiple Bases: Given the volume and variety of data, should we aim for one "Mega Base" or multiple specialized bases? Unique Identifiers across Roles: For our Students, we use a University ID as a unique identifier. However, for Mentors, Alumni, and other external partners, we don't have a standardized ID. What do you recommend as a Unique Identifier for non-student entities to ensure we don't create duplicate records when a person changes roles (e.g., an Alumnus becoming a Mentor)? Syncing &amp

We’re an embroidery company and We’ve been working on relaunching our website on Shopify and we were planning on using a third party warehouse management system but we’ve had a dreadful time with the supplier and we’ve decided to scrap that project as its delaying launching our website (already three months late) For at least this year, we’re looking to use Airtable as our operations system and set up with a two-way sync with Shopify.  Has anyone used Airtable as a :  lightweight WMS / production workflow layer alongside Shopify? Has anyone managed production workflows (e.g. batching, manufacturing, customisation) in Airtable?  Basically  we’llUse Shopify for: storefronts (each school has its own store) orders + payments Use Airtable as our operational system, to manage: order lines (each item in an order) supplier ordering goods received embroidery workflow (including batching by logo) dispatch tracking  

So far, I haven’t had any trouble entering text and currency into Airtable bases, but I’d like to calculate simple overall percentages from my data. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t figure out how to do it in Airtable.I know how to do it at the row level, but I don’t know how to calculate it for the total data. For example, I have values in Column 1 and Column 2, and I need to sum all the data from Column 1 and all the data from Column 2, then divide them to get the overall percentage. Im trying to do this in the interface view too, but its imposible.I’m starting to think that it’s not possible to calculate simple total percentages in Airtable. Or am I missing something?Thanks very much in advance for any help with this.

I sometimes wonder why I still pay airtable money. For an application that claims to be good for time planning it’s mad it still doesn’t seem to be able to do time and date maths properly. I am in UK (so GMT/BST) - I want to have a date field and a separate time field, and to be able to combine these two into a calculated dateTimenothing I have tried seems to work reliably for this without jumping the date back to UTC Has anyone found a solution for what should be a trivial task?Thanks Richard

Hi there, It appears that there are a lot of threads but I can’t find an answer. I want to be able to add some images and font sizes and colours. I’ve tried connecting to GMail and setting up a signature but it doesn’t include the signature in the email body. I also have a field with the persons name in the airtable base, however that isn’t displaying for some reason.  This should be pretty straight forward. I’m open to paying someone to do this.  Thanks in advance. Jared.

I have a production base and a sandbox version of the same. I often accidentally mix the two if I don’t carefully look up to check that I’m in “ Sandbox”  mode when I’m working fast.  I’ve read you can change the color or base name e.g., “ Base (Sandbox)”  vs. “ Based (Prod)” from the home screen.  However when I try that I only see the main Prod base and it’s only allowing me to modify the name of the Prod base. I don’t see  a separate way to modify the name of sandbox itself.Has anyone been able to manage this? and how? Thank you. 

Hi,It seems that the Google Calendar: Create Event requires a hard coded (chosen) calendar to place an event in. We have used a shared calendar for this, but it gets somewhat messy.Hence, would it somehow be possible to have the event placed in a dynamically chosen calendar? Either <current user> or somehow derived based on a variable (e-mail addresse for example)?Rgds,Björn

Hi, I have established a foundation to collaborate with an external community. All my providers are added as Guests and have only access to interfaces. I’m struggling to find documentation for Guests users only, and especially regarding the notifications. I need several things and either it’s not possible so i need to find a work around , or i don’t know how to set it up:1/ when someone leaves a comment on a record the @ does not show all the guests users (portal editors) only the Editors and on top of that they don’t see who left the comment either it says anonymous, is there a way to change that without changing the portal editors status? i would need the portal editors to tag each other.2/ is automation the only way to receive emails when a status is changing? or am i missing something? Thanks for your helpMarion

Hi,In an automation that is triggered by an user from an interface button, would it be possible to divide the action in two parts, with user interaction inbetween?I’d like to show the user a preview of an invoice that would be sent out after the user has checked it’s all good. The PDF would be produced in the first stage, then sent out in the second if OK.I cannot see any way to this in Airtable, but I have been amazed before by elegant solutions :). A couple months back, I asked for help deleting lines of text beginning with the word ‘Highlight’ and was given this great formula: REGEX_REPLACE({Hook},".*Highlight.*\\n\n?","") It has been a huge time-saver but something I forgot to ask with my original question is if there is a way to add a blank line/line break where those lines were.
