Team, subscribed to Airtable a month back. Created a workspace called “Rohit”, created two bases - “Sales Pipeline” and “Open item tracker”. Now Sales Pipeline base is completely gone. Can’t find anything. Was working on other things like importing data, building AI etc for a large excel database i have. But pls advise how can i retrieve my base “Sales Pipeline”

Was adding leads to a dbase and chugging along. Next thing I know, AirTable stops accepting any inputs. Checked my wifi, logged out and back in. Anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions, tips or hints would be welcomed.  

Hi everyone!I just tried Day 3 of the 12 Days of AI Plays, focusing on AI-powered app generation with Omni. I picked Educational Toys as my category, and Omni suggested a complete new Airtable app/base with tables for Materials, Production Steps, Inventory, and Quality Checks, plus smart relationships between them.The suggested automations for stock tracking and notifications were a game-changer compared to our existing Toy Workshop setup. I also loved the example records — they made it super easy to visualize the workflow.It’s amazing to see how AI can help draft data models, prototype workflows, and improve existing bases so quickly.I’d love to hear how others approached their toy category and what clever automations or relationships Omni suggested. Let’s share ideas and inspiration!

I’m working on an interface that is all connected to Property Projects through the Record Picker. I’m trying to create elements that pull data from the subject property through the Record Picker. For example, I’m creating a Comps element. However, I need the comps to pull only from the Property selected in the Record Picker. It’s prompting me to create a condition, however, I don’t have the Record Picker as an option. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance! 

Hi, I’m new to Airtable and have been working on this for 24 hours straight. I tried hard to find a Discord server for it, but sadly, there isn’t one.The main point is: I want to display a single piece of data alongside a bar chart in the interface. I keep getting confused about how to do it. Even ChatGPT misunderstands the issue as something related to login and doesn’t provide exact guidance. So, could someone kindly help me with this?

Two (2) columns of expenses in different currenciesI work for an international agencyI have to submit a report of expenses. I have some expenses in US dollars and some in Euros. I would like 2 columns and then a conversion column in euros - how can I do that ?

Recently I have noticed that the more compact menu that is displayed when a record is clicked in calendar view seems to have reduced functionality. Specifically, I can no longer edit fields from that menu and ‘multiple select’ fields seem to not allow for options being chosen from that menu anymore. However, when you click to expand that record view, everything works as its supposed to. The photo I have attached points out what I am referring to.   I have tried this with multiple records, newly created records, different fields, and I have already closed and reopened Airtable. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!

Hello community,I’d like to clean up our database a bit — especially fields and formulas that were created through “trial and error” and are no longer really needed.What’s the best way to check whether a field in the database is truly not being used anywhere? Do you have any tips or best practices so I don’t accidentally break something?

Is there a way to prevent people from making edits, or self-upgrading their account from a Viewer to an Editor? I am on Enterprise Scale and constantly have to check to make sure people arent self-upgrading to Editor and thus taking away seats, or using seats we do not have available.One solution I found was to make everyone only an editor, but then they cant configure or modify the base which means I, or my team, would have to configure their base for them which we cannot support. Has anyone here found a solution for this? Seems kind of silly that there isnt a setting within the Admin panel to prevent this from happening.

In Airtable, my base contains tables named "People" and "Events". Multiple people can participate in multiple events and share specific types of relationships as a consequence. For instance, Person 1 (Charles) and Person 2 (Amy) can both participate in an Event named "Marriage of Charles and Amy", forming a specific type of relationship (spouses) as a consequence, so that Charles is "spouse of" Amy and Amy is "spouse of" Charles. Likewise, birth events create "parent of" and "child of" relationships, and so on. Using a junction table, what would be the best method to illustrate the types of relationships multiple people can share as a consequence of participating in specific events?

Hi all. Fairly a newby (but just got my builder certification🤗) so bear with me!My supervisor developed a fairly complicated base that uses, among many other things, user and user attribute tables. To make user attributes dynamically editable by type (income, demographics, etc) in a Softr interface, he made each type its own linked record field on the user. So while the user has all of these linked attributes, they are linked records split across many fields (think Attributes (work experience), attributes (race), etc.)We’re now trying to clean up this base and reunify them in one linked attributes field, but there are so many linked fields at play that it’s a bit intimidating to get started. What’s the safest route here? Working in sandbox :)

We have recently experienced some issues with read-only share links access.  It appears a user must have an account in Airtable to access a read-only share link.  Is this the case?

We are stating to use portals - and we have our internal Jira linked with automatic status updates. The external clients with access to the portals want to do the same with their Jiras. Any ideas on how to make this work?

Hey everyoneRan into something interesting and not sure what is going on.I have a table called assignment with a Start Date and End Date field that are used for Date dependencies and to calculate duration.I have an Interface button called runs an automation. In that automation is a script that will use the End Date of the record, calculate a new start date (which is one day after the end date) and a new End Date (which is 3 months after the new start date).I have another script later in the automation that will duplicate the record and insert the new start and end date into the Start Date and End Date field for the duplicated assignment.Interestingly, the Duration is not updating when the new dates are added.In the attached image the, the top record is the source and the bottom record was the duplicate created by the script.I created a test formula to calculate the works days to validate what I am seeing. The top record has a duration of 132 days and the bottom record is also 132. But

I help run a marketing agency and I need to be able to create a table that shows how much each agency member will get to take home each month. There are 2 members that take payouts each month, but at different rates depending on who is the lead (70%) and the support (20%) - the business gets a share as well (10%). These percentages are average, but we do sometimes adjust them. I have a table for the projects which show all live projects. In the project tracker I list each project, the full fee, who is the lead, who is support, the start date /end date and the percentages that each gets. I would like the new table to show month over month, how much each should be getting paid based on all projects which they are staffed on (and the percentage) what they should be paid each month.

Hello,I would like to use Airtable’s Multi-source syncing feature. In the long term, I need to add around fifty bases in one view. I’ve done it with three sources so far, and I’d like to know whether this is possible or if there is a limit to Multi-source syncing.Thank you very much!

Hello!I am currently working on a form and want the ability for individuals to make multiple selections and get specific emails depending on their responses. For instance, we have 3 trainings with their own Zoom calendar invite that individuals can select on the form. Lets say Jane picks Training 1 and Training 3. We have an automation to send Jane an email that contains a Zoom calendar invite for Training 1 but want an automation that will also send her Training 2 in the same email. Is that a possible automation? Or is there a different way to do this? My organization currently cannot connect Zoom to our Airtable so that isn’t a potential solution unfortunately.  Please let me know your thoughts or if you need clarification on anything!

When I use the search extension in Airtable, it works well for finding a record. However, when I click on a record, it shows me the fields, but I would like to be able to edit them. I have a view that is very well organized, and I was hoping to see the record displayed according to that field arrangement, but unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do this.My goal is to quickly search for a record and, upon clicking it, display the specific information I need. So far, I haven't been able to organize the displayed information in the way I want.

Hi everyone — hoping for some guidance on best practices in Airtable.I have a table with a column that represents a numbered list (1–100). The order matters. When I insert a new record after, say, item #51, I’d like all rows below it to automatically renumber, so the list becomes 1–101 without manually updating each value.In other words: Current state: rows are numbered sequentially Action: insert a new row in the middle Desired result: all following rows shift +1 automatically I’m trying to understand: Whether this can be done natively (formulas, views, sorting, etc.) Or if it requires automations or scripting And what the recommended pattern is for maintaining ordered lists like this in Airtable I’m open to restructuring the field (e.g., using a sort/order field instead of manually entered numbers) if that’s the right approach.Any examples, tutorials, or best-practice patterns would be greatly appreciated. I have an automation that sends students an email thanking them for being a part of a short-term trip with the school and I was wondering if Airtable or an extension that I do not know of, could track the engagement of the student on if they opened the email, or if they clicked on a link, etc. I want to make sure that the email is the most optimized to get the most survey responses possible!
